Outside the restaurant...
Trey's POV:
As we walked toward the car, I nudged her with my elbow. "You had fun, don't lie."She rolled her eyes, smiling. "I mean, it was aight. You ain't make me regret gettin' dressed up, so I'll give you that."
I leaned against the car, looking down at her. "Aight? Girl, quit playing. You gon' be thinkin' 'bout this night all week."
She crossed her arms, leaning back, acting like she wasn't impressed. "You really think you had me like that?"
I raised an eyebrow. "Think? Nah, I know. But let me ask you something—what's the next move? 'Cause we got two options. Either I take you back to your place, or you can come kick it with me a little longer back at Tanya's spot. Everybody else still there so what's it gone be?"
She laughed, shaking her head. "You just don't quit, do you?"
"Not when I know what I want," I said, stepping closer. "And I know you ain't tryna end the night yet. So, what's the move?"
She paused, looking up at me with those eyes like she was tryna read my mind. Then she smiled, just a little. "Alright. Let's go back to Tanya's. But don't get any ideas." She pushed my arm lightly.
I smirked, leaning in just a bit. "Too late."
Before she could snap back, I leaned down and gave her a soft long kiss on the lips—just enough to catch her off guard. She blinked, for a second, then gave in placing her hands around my neck and mine around her waist. I pulled her in closer closing the gap between us. I pulled back from the kiss to see her reaction. I caught that smile creeping back up.
"Okay, okay," she said, trying to play it cool. "You got your lil kiss. Now, let's go before you start thinking you're too smooth."
I grinned, dropping my hands from her waist opening the car door for her. "I been smooth. You just catchin' on." I sneaked another kiss from her before she got in the car. I could see her radiating with shyness. I witnessed her softness starting to show.
"I did that." I said to myself proudly.Shanay's POV:
On our way back to Tanya's, I was still tryna wrap my head around the fact that Trey actually kissed me. This dude was slick, no doubt about it. He was a great kisser. I could see why he had so many girls probably blowin' up his phone.I searched in my bag for Tanya's keys. As soon as I opened the door, it was quiet as hell. We walked in, my heels tapped against the floor quietly, I couldn't help but laugh, when me and Trey made it to the living room. These fools were in full-on couch potato mode. Tanya, Darnell, Alesha, and Leon were all crashed out on the couch in hilarious positions. They all looked like they done crashed after a marathon of bad Netflix movies. My guess to who had the remote-had to be Alesha... I don't blame em. My ass would'a knocked out in five minutes too if Alesha chose a movie.
"Hell naw... look at your boys" i whisper yelled at Trey.
"Darnell need a blanket asap!" Trey pointed to a snoring Darnell, balancing a line pillows from his shoulders to his feet.
"Forget allat look at Alesha! Sis fell asleep tryna charge her phone." Sis had a iPhone charger, wrapped around in one hand and her phone in the other.
We both ran out the room cryin laughing, hitting each other signalling to be quiet. We rushed back in and saw Leon and Tanya.
Leon looked like he fell off the couch. He was on the floor on his back, with one leg still on the couch. This guy was just tall for no reason. What took us out was that they conked out battling for the blanket Tanya look like she wasn't letting up with that blanket her whole body was wrapped in it like a cocoon only leaving Leon 2cm to hold on to. There was still a tight pull between them two. Leon just look like he wasn't giving up mid sleep his hand was clutching on to the corner of the blanket tightly better yet he was clutching on to hopes and dreams.
