No, I am not scared
Yet, I am terrified
For what it's worth,
Of what'll happen with you

I wonder, will you cry?
I would plead you not to
But I must choose otherwise
Lest it be akin to how I've lived

I wonder, will you smile?
For energy can only transform
I'm certain of flowers' bloom
Yet I dread the lonely shadows

I wonder, will you rage?
As the skeletons walk out
And I ruin in your revelation
Yet become human all the more

I wonder, will you forget?
As all have ever done
How long till my name passes
And rids the world of another?

I wonder, will you regret?
For reasons all to our own
In weakness, I pray you do
A vindication for neglecting time

You might wonder, amidst this rubble
"Is it worth anything at all?"
I can merely shrug and say.
It's because I love you so
