Angst before the fluff 𓆩♡𓆪

C.C wondered mindlessly into a empty room, filled with nothing but a large window and what used to be two joyful instruments. But now they're nothing more than dusted objects, once filled with song but now hollow with sorrow. Kind of like the brunettes heart, although he was dead not too long ago it beaded, not literally but beaded with song, a song for a blonde.

He walked up to the rusted piano, hit the keys yet nothing came out. He heard nothing. The keys were silent, the silence snapped him out of his trance, why was he even in here? There's nothing left here for him. Perhaps he was looking for something, No. He was looking for someone. A rusted Violin laid faint against the leg of the piano chair, the only thing the universe left of him. Stupid Kaleidoscope. C.C took a seat on the piano chair like he once did before, his hand shakily hung over the keys.

A ringing had been playing in his hears all day, it ticked him off. The ringing wouldn't stop so he gave in and listened to it, turns out it wasn't a ringing but.. a song? An instrumental to a song him and his angel once played before. His hands still hung over the keys they gently started mapping out the notes to the tune. Yet his hands still hadn't touched the piano, he wasn't done remembering the feeling of the song yet.

The song got louder in his head, practically ringing out of his ears and soon was ringing from the piano as his hands finally hit the keys. At first in rage but then softened, he could hear the faint sound of the violin, just has he heard it once before. For a moment he felt like he was there, and then he was. There he was joining him as they danced their duet once more. One more time, one more time is all he wanted before saying goodbye. He never got to say goodbye.

His eyes were fixated on him, his angel, the doll he adored so much. There he was playing the violin, matching his tune perfectly. The notes were like he was holding out his hand asking for a dance, the brunette played louder accepting his offer. This was their waltz.

They played together perfectly, almost like they did before, almost like nothing happened, almost like the kaleidoscope never reset. And just like that he was gone again and the ringing stopped. C.C's eyes burned from the tears he hadn't realized stained his face, his tear rash stinging against his skin. He was left with silence, his dead heart feeling more broken than it already was.

The two instruments colors faded, and the rust set in.
