"Marinette, I have a question for you and (y/n)," Kagami approaches while Mari stops in her tracks.

"Oh? Alright, what's up?" I ask when Marinette starts stuttering nonsense.

"A q-question? A question, of course! Makes total sense, just not right now I have something to do before the concert," She starts tugging on my arm while I give her a blank look.

"I'll come with you."

"No, no! I have to do it on my own at any moment!" When she realizes I'm not going with her, she runs off into the hold.

I sigh, shaking my head at her, as I turn to Kagami when Adrien approaches.

"It's good to see you again Kagami, you'll get to hear the song I wrote for Marinette."

"You've made your feelings clear and you're dealing with them. That's good, I'm very proud of you."

"Now if only we could say the same for Marinette," I shake my head as we finish up the preparations for Adrien's song.

When Marinette comes back up we start playing, the piano starting up as multi-colored lights shine on Kitty Section, Adrien stepping up to the mic.

"Marinette, this song is for you," Adrien says before he starts singing. (Such a cringe song...We're gonna pretend it's good here)

As the song continues, with Adrien singing, and Max, Zoé, and I singing back up, it is easy to tell that Marinette is touched by the song, smiling softly and with love toward Adrien.

"I love you~" The spotlight goes onto Marinette, shocking her out of her trance as she looks around at everyone nervously.

Not sure if that was a good idea, she'll be too flustered to say anything coherent back.

"I...I...I...I need the moo!" Mari runs off and I facepalm, Adrien, looking back at us with worry.

"Was it my song?"

"No, I think the sudden spotlight flustered her, I'll go check on her," I start to head down, Kagami starting to follow.

"I'll go with you."

"No, I will, we know her like the back of our hands," Alya says as we head down after her to find her hiding behind the kitchen counter, pleading with a picture of a cow.

"Come on cow I need you!"

"Marinette, what are you doing?" Alya asks, leaning over the counter.

"Just grabbing the cow to tell Adrien that I love him because I have the 'I love' but not the 'moo'!"

"What?" I ask, crossing my arms and she peeks up at us.

"I know it's ridiculous, I'm ridiculous."

"Got that right," I mumble to myself as we walk around to face her.

"You're just feeling the pressure girl like anyone who is about to tell someone they love that they love them," Alya reassures her.

"No, it's more than that Alya, something is wrong with me," Marinette argues before coming to an 'epiphany'. "I know! It's because I'm Ladybug. I'm petrified at the thought of doing something careless again and losing my miraculous because I won't be focused on the mission. Besides I'd be lying to Adrien the whole time—"

"Marinette just fucking stop," I cut her off. "You're making excuses and hiding behind our miraculouses."

They both blink at me.

"Yeah, I cursed, we're almost high schoolers, get over it," I say, already feeling done.

"(y/n) does have a point though, you are making excuses. Right now there is no mission or lies going on. It's just you Marinette. It's just Adrien who loves you and a beautiful song," Alya goes off when Mari starts making hand gestures for her to stop. "No, I won't hush up, and I won't accept your excuses and—"

I jab her after peering over my shoulder to see Kagami standing behind us.

"I really need to shut my mouth don't I?" She winces.

"I just wanted to make sure everything is ok but I'm interrupting aren't I?" Kagami asks, looking at us with confusion.

"No, not at all, it's just..." Mari trails off trying to think of an excuse.

"We'll be back up in a minute just have to deal with this cow thing," I reassure her.

"I understand," Kagami leaves and once we're sure she's gone we continue.

"Ladybug isn't the one stopping you from telling Adrien you love him, it's you," I say point blank and she challenges me.

"Oh really? How do you know something terrible isn't happening right now? Someone in Paris could be in danger or getting akumatized without anyone realizing! Just by being here, I'm failing my mission. Cover for me. Tikki Spots On!"

With that, she runs away as we watch her take off into the city.

"From where I'm standing your mission seems to be avoiding Adrien," Alya comments, and I ask before heading up:

"What else is new?"

Heading back upstairs I saw Kagami starting to leave and she looked upset.

"Kagami! Are you ok?" I call out to her as I rush up the rest of the stairs when she runs away.

I chased after her, and Adrien was quick to be by my side as we stopped at her abandoned car. Looking around I notice a piece of paper on the ground and pick it up.

"What the fuck?" I ask as I read it over.

"What?" Adrien asks and I read it out loud.

"If they don't pick up the phone when you call, use a secret language with others that you don't understand, you can be sure this person or people never considered you their friend(s)."

"Cow??" Adrien asks looking it over and I sigh.

"Someone's been manipulating her."

Was this what she wanted to ask us about? If so now she thinks we never considered her our friend. This has to be fixed.

"Come on, we have to find her," Adrien starts tugging on my arm and we start searching for her.

When we finally find her though it is too late, she is already akumatized and is now a giant cloud.

"Kagami! Don't let him use you!" I shout to her but she doesn't seem to hear me as she begins walking into the city.

Grabbing my wrist Adrien drags me to a hiding spot to transform.

"Plagg, Claws Out!"

"Flaake, Freeze!"

We find Kagami sitting at the Seine River, the police force surrounding her without her giving a care, and Ladybug already on the scene.

"Found this before she was akumatized," I hand the list to LB who reads it and gasps at its ridiculousness.

"Oh no, I- Someone insensitive, blind, and oblivious broke her heart when all she wanted was a friend to listen to her."
