The winds howl
Upon the dead branches rests an owl
My eyes have seen all these atrocities it says
It gazes up to the stars, what an unknown haze

Black robed men go bump in the night
Screaming children go down with a fight
Uncomforting words in a lamenting mother's ears, it'll be alright
On a park bench under a street light hands holding together tight

farewell world for today I disappear
Fear fear all I feel is fear
Walking alone in this cold dark forest my only companion is the cold and a tear
Away away why won't these tormenting thoughts be away
In madness I write in madness
My brother has gone missing in the woods oh brother where are you
To you I swear to be true
loathefully It was you
Loathefully I was you

My eyes have seen all these atrocities
Madness madness I'll write in madness
Theses are the plans time is slipping out of my hands
Madness madness
Brother Brother where are you
My son where is my son my son I want my son
Brother brother where are you why have you left me
Brother oh brother

write in madness I will write in madness I will write in madness
I last saw him
I last saw him
In the woods
My eyes have seen all these atrocities
I wonder when they'll finally realise
that there's no encore
