We almost left but I jumped into Jack holding his arm hiding behind him when Tooth and her mini fairies came fluttering in buzzing about faster than normal and we could barely understand what she said. The only thing we caught was coffee. Oh no! We exclaimed.

We knew this was going to be a big problem. And Jack didn't make things easier when he decided he wanted some as well. But Mary and I we didn't go after him and neither did Poison when her two older siblings followed after him they had never had coffee before.

But Mary told Jamie and I that Jack had once when we were 14. He drank some of dad's once. And he was worse than Tooth was now. So we knew we were doomed. Jamie asked us about drinking coffee Mary said coffee was a grown up drink. I said I'd never had any but didn't want to.

How I didn't drink anything that adults drank because that's what made our father worse in addition the abuse because he went to bars and drank all the time. And when he wasn't drinking it he threw stuff at me especially when it was just the two of us after everyone else died.

We also knew if his mom gave the Tooth fairy coffee chances were everyone else did as well. And what a sight they all were. Jack and Onyx and Nightshade having a snowball fight in the living room. North dancing and spinning around in the kitchen Bunny with Sophie on his back.

Sandy was the only one that didn't seem that different well aside from Onyx and Nightshade. I had a feeling they were playing along they looked normal other than more hyper than usual. My guess is coffee didn't have too much of an affect on them since they were dark and so is coffee.

Nightshade kept Jack busy when I pulled Onyx to the side. Asked them how we stop this mess. We went to find Sandy we couldn't understand his images but that was normal even though they were faster than normal so we asked him to put everyone to sleep. We all woke up soon after.

And we had no idea what happened since then. Bunny was against the wall North was under a table Tooth and her fairies were on the floor cuddled up together Sandy was upside down in a chair Jamie's mom was gone Sophie was curled up somewhere near Bunny.

Jack held me tight I had the Black siblings on my right all curled up together. I wish I had a camera. Everyone was beginning to wake up and wondered what all had happened. We had told his mom not to give immortals coffee considering we were already dead and didn't need more energy that we were naturally hyper.

And now she knew for next time not to do that. Jamie and Mary were near each other was well still currently asleep. But Jamie was also now waking up when we wondered where his mother went. But he rubbed his eyes and told us she probably had gone in to work for the day.

She should've left a note on the fridge he shrugged and yawned. Which she had indeed done though looking outside IDK how she managed because there was a blizzard out there which I'm guessing was Jack's doing. Yeah he said back out loud that was me I promised Jamie a snow day had coffee and made a blizzard.

The others were only slightly confused in the fact that no one said anything about the weather but decided that I thought it and he just said it out loud. And when he noticed I was slightly trembling he remembered last time he had coffee and knew what dad had done to me.

He held me close and told me he was sorry. I began to calm down. He said he forgot because the one time he remembered having coffee he was happy and hyper and being happy wasn't a luxury we had growing up. And he wanted that feeling back. Papa North read the note on the fridge.

It read she was at work and Jack stay out of trouble. Jack grumbled but complied. He flopped back down continuing to hold me close while I looked up at him confused. In addition I quickly learned my brother was not a morning person but did know Bunny was.

He asked us what we were wearing since he hadn't ever seen Jack in anything other than his navy blue hoodie or the white one I made him. But he said he lost his old cloak about 50 years ago and that other mother made us our cloaks back in the day and now we all match and he liked his cloak better but about the same as the hoodie I made him.

What are you doing now? North asked him. Sleeping and keeping my sister safe. He grumbled. But the ground is not for sleeping on sleeping is for beds North reminded him. Only Jack wouldn't know that he'd slept in trees most of his Jack Frost life and when I was still human I didn't sleep in a bed either.

They had let us be until Mary woke up. Jack she called to him as he grumbled. I wanna play hopscotch. I shivered at the thought. He said we were sleeping and we could play later. But Mary wouldn't let up and then Jack got up when she told him she remembered how she used to wake him up back in the day.

He sprung to life fully wide awake once again. He knew he'd never hear the end of it if she did do what he knew she would've done. But this left myself and everyone else confused but we would have to remain confused. The only ones who had some kind of idea were Onyx and his sisters with mischievous smirks on their faces. And Jack quickly agreed to set one up here in the living room since outside was kind of a no go.
