Mine and Only Mine

"Y/N wake up!" Pansy shoved on my back hard. I tossed and turned trying to get comfy again.

"No its cold out there," I whined.

"We're going skating today though remember!" Pansy reminded me. I shot up with a big smile on my face.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE ME UP SOONER?!" I shouted and sprinted out of bed. Pansy sighed and rolled her eyes at me. I hopped into the shower, and braided my hair into messy sideways bun. I changed into this and hurried out. Pansy was already changed and waiting for me downstairs. I shoved my wand into my boot and ran down stairs to the common room. "Ready Pansy?" I asked her as she sat next to Blaise and Draco.

"Yup just waiting for Millicent she wants to go too." Pansy said.

"Where are you guys going exactly?" Blaise asked.

"Skating," I said happily.

"Where?" Draco asked.

"On the Black Lake where else?" Pansy said.

"Isn't that dangerous," Blaise said.

"It's frozen over I'm sure it'll be fine anyways I did it last year," I said coolly and sat next to Draco.

"You boys can come along if you want," Pansy suggested.

"I don't-"

"I'll go, it could be fun," Blaise cut off Draco. Draco scowled at Blaise and I rolled my eyes, what the hell was wrong with these two it's been going on for a few days now.

"Draco are you coming?" Pansy asked hopefully, she still likes him that's never going to change.

"Yeah of course wouldn't miss it for the world." He said with a fake smile, he's been hiding something from me... I didn't like it. I laced my fingers around his and held onto his hand and I felt him become less tense. Millicent came rushing down the stairs with her hair flying in all directions and a green scarf untidily wrapped around her neck.

"There you are," I smiled. "Well then let's get going?" I got up and we all walked out of the common room.

-Time skip-

I stepped onto the ice and glided across the ice. "I wish we could do this all year around!" I exclaimed.

"Uh no I prefer summer thank you very much," Pansy remarked with a smirk as she glided next to me.

"Oh come on the snow is lovely; it all looks magical with everything covered in white." I said.

"Pansy!" Millicent shouted.

"What?"

"Do you want to build a snowman?" Millicent started singing.

"Oh no," Pansy skated faster.

"Come on let's go and play," I joined in with Millicent who was now next to me. I swung my arm around her neck and we skated following Pansy while singing.

"Blaise for the love of god shut them up!" Pansy begged to Blaise who was standing by with Draco, Vincent, and Gregory not joining us on the ice yet. Blaise smirked at the sight.

"No I think I'll just stand back this is quite enjoyable," He mocked. Pansy scowled at him and went right up to him and pushed him so he fell back into the snow. Pansy raised a brow and skated off laughing, leaving everyone except Blaise laughing. Blaise got up and finally joined us on the ice but he was chasing Pansy to get back at her. He threw a snowball at her and she lost her balance making her fall backwards.

"HEY!" Pansy shouted. Blaise merely smiled and shrugged. "Ladies I need back up!" She shouted and we skated to the edge and formed snowballs. The rest of the boys followed and it became an all-out snowball war on ice. I fell backwards, sideways, and many different ways I knew for sure I'd be sore later but this was so fun. We finally stopped after maybe twenty minutes of snowball fun and just broke out into little groups and skated peacefully. I skated slowly next to Draco and then a thought popped up in my head. It may piss him off but I'd really like to know what's been bugging him.

"Hey Draco," I say calmly, he hummed in reply. "Are you ok?"

"Why wouldn't I be?" He asked, we skated farther away from where the others were, so that they looked like tiny dots.

"It's just you and Blaise have been acting kind of weird lately," I pointed out.

He tensed up, "Well There's been something I've been meaning to ask-" I let out a horrid cry screaming for my life. "Y/N!!" Draco shouted. The ice where we had skated wasn't safe at all and gave way leaving me in an icy death hold.

"Draco!" I screamed trying to pull myself onto solid ice but the ice around me started cracking into pieces to. I went under twice and fought to stay above water though I could barely swim. I could feel tears falling from my eyes. Draco had left to get help from the others, and I wouldn't want him to stay and accidently fall in too. Slowly the cold spread through me like a sickness and I could feel myself being pulled under. My mind went crazy; if this was a normal lake I'd be perfectly fine. But this is the Black Lake, there are grindylows, mermaids, and who knows what else lurked under these waters. I took one last breath and closed my eyes, I could hear shouting around me but it slowly became quiet. Memories played through my mind, I struggled to remember the warmth of Pansy hugging me, the warm feeling Draco gave me but slowly those too faded and then everything went black...

I slowly opened my eyes I was in dark room, I stirred a bit. Okay well I knew I wasn't dead at least. I looked to my left and saw a many outlines of empty beds. I was in the hospital wing, I remember now I had fallen while we were skating, Draco must have gotten back in time. I turned to look to my right, and saw a slouching figure in a chair. The moon light that poured through the windows made his blonde hair shine as it fell across his pale sleeping face. It was beautiful, he really was a prince. I tried to sit up straight a bit and I felt all my muscles tighten, I was sore all over. His gray eyes fluttered open and he looked at me in surprise. "You're awake," Draco whispered relief in his tone.

"Yeah," I smiled weakly. "Why are you here it's night you should be in the common room."

"I got permission to stay and keep an eye on you," Draco said.

"Of course you did," I replied. "Hey... before I fell into the lake you said there was something you wanted to ask me, what was it?" Dread filled his face and he looked nervous.

"Well... is it true that Blaise was going to kiss you and you didn't do anything... that night on the Yule Ball...?" Draco asked. My eyes widened at his question and I fidgeted with the sheets.

"Well—yes, I was just shocked I didn't really know how to react..." I said, there was no point in lying about it.

"Would you prefer him over me," He choked.

"No of course not, I wouldn't want anyone other than you. That's cheesy sounding but seriously," I said quickly furrowing my brows. Draco scooted closer to my bed and leaned in so our faces were ony centimeters apart.

"Tell me you're mine and only mine," he whispered.

"I'm yours and only yours," I answered right away. I could see a smile form on his lips.

"Good," he pressed his lips against mines and wrapped an arm around my waist, tangling his other hand in my hair. I wrapped my arms around his neck, how was it possible for me to fall so hard for this boy?
