Angies surgery

Beaus PoV

"Morning handsome" Brooke husks in my ear whilst her hand runs up my stomach. "Morning beautiful" I groan stretching out underneath her, my morning wood becoming obvious to both of us. Brooke laughs before leaning into my neck and whispering "You know...If angie wasn't here then I'd totally give you...". "Brooke! It's angies surgery" Peyton shouts running down the hallway and bursting into Brooke's bedroom. I quickly grab a pillow and push it down onto my ...tent... as peytons eyes widen "oh my god I'm so sorry". As Peytons hand swoop up to cover her eyes, Brooke pulls the cover up over me. "Peyton, beaus basically naked" Brooke snaps pointing at the door as I throw myself on my front, careful not to damage the goods. Brooke's hand lands on my bare back as peyton says "did you not hear me? We have to go to the hospital now for angies surgery". "Ok ok I'm getting up, go get ready and we will meet you in the lounge" I can hear the panic in Brooke's voice as I hear the door open and close. "Is she gone?" I ask as Brooke sighs "yes she's gone". As I turn round and sit up next to Brooke, she sighs placing her head in her hands. "You know she's going to be ok right, the doctors will look after her" I whisper pulling her into my side. "I hope your right" Brooke whispers turning to look at me as I kiss her forehead "come on let's get ready".

Brooke's PoV

"Ok tell me again why angies surgery is so last minute?" Peyton asks me as we walk into the hospital, Beau holding Angie as we walk through the doors. "It's all done on a volunteer basis. The surgeons donate their services, so it depends on when they have an opening, and the right medical team, and everything. I just didn't think it was gonna be today" I reply looking at the small girl looking so content in my girlfriends arms. "What can I do?" Peyton asks as we slow down, Beau and angie walking slightly away from us. "You're doing it, thank you. But would you mind calling Lucas for me? He came to the pre appointment with me and I think he would want to know" I ask her seeing the deer in the headlights flash before her eyes. "Yeah sure I'll be right back" peyton rubs my arms as I turn and see Beau standing at the end of the hallway looking at me.

"She's going to be fine beautiful" Beau says as I pace back and forth in front of her whilst holding Angie. "You don't know that...Beau I love you but you don't know that" I say looking at the small baby in my arms. "Brooke" I turn and look down the hallway seeing doctor Copeland walking towards us "hi, big day huh?". "How you holding up? Hi I'm doctor Copeland and your beau James" he smiles at Beau who stands up to shake his hand, placing the other hand on my back. "It's nice to meet you doctor Copeland. This one's really nervous and I don't mean Angie" I lean into Beau needing to feel her comfort. "I'm nervous...please tell me you're not. You're not nervous" I quiver as he looks at me. "She's gonna do great, ok? So are you" he replies confidently, easing some of the nerves I currently have. "Dr Copeland, we are all set" a nurse comes up behind the doctor as I feel my nerves making me emotional, my eyes filling with tears. "Ok this is gonna take a little while. But as soon as I'm done, I will come out and let you know. Ok?" I muster up any voice I have at the moment and whisper "ok". "Nurse Leigh's gonna take Angie now" I smile and lift Angie in front of me so I can look at her "ok, hey sweet girl... the nice nurse is gonna take you for your surgery now, ok? But nothing is gonna happen to you. I promise. Ok they are just gonna take you and make you better. Yeah you're gonna be all better ok?". "You're gonna do amazing...see you soon baby girl" Beau smiles leaning down and placing a kiss to her forehead before I turn and hand her over to the nurse. "Doctor Copeland, what's your name? Your first name?" I ask before they turn and walk down the hallway "just try to relax Brooke...she's in good hands. And so are you". He nods to Beau who smiles slightly and waves at Angie as they turn and walk down the hallway. Then the walls break and the tears start as I turn and push my face into beaus chest "I know beautiful...I know".

Beaus PoV

"Three coffees....for me, you and ....Luke? What are you doing here?" I ask walking into the waiting room and noticing Lucas sitting next to Brooke. "Peyton phoned and I wanted to come and see how Angie is doing" he says softly as I sit down next to Brooke and hand her the coffee "thank you honey". "Has Peyton left?" I ask them, not entirely sure what to do with this extra coffee now. "Yeh she's got a busy day, I told her I was in good hands and to head out" Brooke smiles turning and placing a kiss to my cheek. "Oh well Luke, looks like you are getting the extra coffee" I smile leaning forward and handing it to him as he chuckles. "Thank you" he takes the cup from my hand as we all lean back in these horrible hospital chairs.
