"It's not fair!! Why am I the only one who got a two-hour course this late in the afternoon??" Hanna groaned, flopping onto the couch dramatically.

"That sucks, but don't complain about it! You almost had all the day for yourself because one of the teachers canceled the music theory one," Ha-Ri said, collapsing onto her bed after finishing arranging her laundry.

"Thanks for letting me stay in your room throughout the day. My roommate is three years older than me and only likes to study in our room. She goes crazy at the smallest sound I make, so I try to stay away from her as much as I can."

"It must be horrible to have such a roommate. I don't even wanna think about it," I added, imagining how I would endure something like that if I were in her place.

"Right? But what do you know when you have such an amazing roommate? I bet you wake up smilling ear to ear everyday." she responded, a teasing glint in her eye.

Before I could form an answer to that, Ji-Ah cut the silence. "So, what outfit do you have in mind for tomorrow? I was thinking of this black skirt and this white top I got yesterday. Do they look good toghter?"

"You'll look stunning dressed like that!" Hanna scanned the clothes, genuinely giving her opinion. "I'll wear a red dress that stops above my knees. Originally I was planning on matching my outfit with my boyfriend's but he said he doesn't like that so I'll go with my second option."

"Do you have a boyfriend?" I curiously asked her.

"Yes, I do. He's not from our collage but he said he got invited by one of his friends." we watched as her smile faited out of her face as she continued "We've been daiting for almost a year now."

"Oh, really? That's great!" Ji-Ah said, but there was an edge of concern in her tone. "Is everything okay?"

Hanna sighed, running her fingers through her hair. "Yeah, I guess. It's just... sometimes it feels like we're in different places. He's really busy with his own life and I sometimes wonder if he's as invested in this relationship as I am. In the beggining of our relationship he was so sweet and kind but now he grows distant day by day."

"I'm sorry to hear that..Have you tried talking to him about this? He should know how you feel." I tried reasuring her.

"You know what? Why are we even having this conversation? Let's lighten the mood, girlies. It's not that deep," Hanna said, her tone shifting as she attempted to change the subject. But we could sense that she was trying hard to act cool, putting on a brave face.

"Sang-Mi, what do you plan on wearing tomorrow?" Ha-Ri asked as she took a seat next to me on the floor.

"I don't know yet. Maybe some jeans and a random top. I don't want to dress too fancy," I replied, shrugging a bit. "I mean, it's a party, but I also want to be comfortable, you know?"

Ha-Ri shook her head. "Nope, absolutely not. Why don't you wear one of my dresses? Look, this one!" She held out a stunning black dress from her closet, giving it a little twirl in the air. "It will look fabulous on you, I just know it."

"It's beautiful, but it is too short for me," I said, examining myself in the mirror as the hem of the dress barely grazed my thighs. "And it's also a backless dress... I don't wanna show too much skin."
