Sang-Mi's POV

His offer caught me off guard. "What? Really? You would do that?"

"Yea. It's been a while since I visited my family anyway, so why not doing it this weekend?"

"If it's okay for you, then I'm up for this trip." Actually, Chan offering to drive me there felt relieving . Plus, traveling together would definitely be fun. Can't wait to prepare the playlist 'cause we're definitely going to have a mini-concert on our way.

"Great!"

"How generous of you, Chan! Hey, hey, why are you hitting me with your foo—. I was  just kidding!!" Seungkwan said sarcastically.

Seungkwan has just gotten kicked by Chan and now they are bickering like they usually do. I moved closer to my girls, curious about what had them giggling so much. But as I approached, the giggles hushed, and I sensed a shift in their conversation.

The weather outside is getting warmer and warmer, as April is now almost coming to an end. However, the nights are still cool. After about an hour of random chatting, After about an hour of random chatting, I glanced at my watch and realized that we were getting close to curfew.

"Hey, guys..We should probably head back soon before we get in trouble."

Friday, 16:40

Finishing my last course of the day, I gathered all my belongings and left the hall.

Okay, let's recap what needs to be done now that I'm done with classes for today. First, laundry; my room looks like a tornado just hit it. Then, cleaning that same room—seriously, you don't want to see it right now. Next, packing the clothes I want to take with me, and... oh shoot, I almost forgot! I need to buy supplies for our trip. Why do I always leave everything to the last minute? The list is piling up. I better hurr-

Lost in my thoughts and quickening my pace, I didn't notice someone trailing behind me until a deep voice sliced through my concentration. "Hello there!"

The boy was extremely tall and I couldn't recognise his face until I looked up, catching sight of his face. Yi-Joon.

Without thinking twice, my steps quickened as I navigated through the crowd of people leaving the building and stepping outside. Unfortunately, his long strides kept pace easily.

"Come on, are you this cold to anyone who talks to you?" he insisted, placing his arm around my shoulders.

I felt my skin crawl as his arm slid across my shoulders. Without hesitating, I shifted away from him and glared up at his face. "First of all, don't touch me. And no, I'm only being ignorant with people like you."

"Like me? What does that even mean? You know, plenty of girls would kill for a chance to talk to me, and yet here you are playing hard to get."

"I don't care about other girls and how high they should be to wish something like that, but if you excuse me, I have somewhere to be."

With that, I turned to walk away, but he stepped in front of me again, blocking my path, a smirk plastered on his face. "Sweetheart, don't be like that. Everybody knows you're head over heels for me. Don't try to play nonchalant."
