Ronin's note: I won't lie to you all, this has been the worst timing ever when I wrote the Sports Festival...a part of me wishes to skip this part and just write damn flashbacks and callbacks, you know what I mean? But sadly, here we are, this is Part 4 of the Sports Festival, I never thought I saw myself writing a Part 4 in ANY book that I write...besides, I know my co-writer HIStoryByEthan would probably love this one. Anyway, enough about me, let's begin the final chapter of this Sports Festival!
As the tension in the stadium reached a fever pitch, the audience buzzed with excitement. The atmosphere crackled with anticipation, the Sports Festival now entering its most critical stage: the semi-finals. Every fan in the stands was on their feet, eager to see who would emerge victorious in these final, grueling matches.
The spotlight hit the center of the stadium, where Present Mic stood with his signature grin and energetic demeanor, microphone in hand, ready to announce the semi-final stage.
Present Mic: "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!" His voice boomed throughout the stadium, amplified by his quirk, sending ripples of excitement through the audience. "YOU'VE SEEN BATTLES THAT WERE OUT OF THIS WORLD! HEROICS, QUIRKS, AND MORE! BUT NOW, WE'RE ENTERING THE MOST INTENSE PART OF THE U.A. SPORTS FESTIVAL-THE SEMI-FINALS!"
The crowd roared in response, the stadium shaking from the collective energy. Flags waved, banners flew, and cheers echoed across the massive arena as everyone waited eagerly for the next set of matches to be revealed.
Present Mic: "NOW, ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE THE MATCHES YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!" He gestured toward Midnight, who stepped forward with her usual air of elegance and authority, her whip at the ready. She unrolled the large tournament bracket, revealing the semi-final fixtures.
Midnight's voice rang out loud and clear.
Midnight: "In our first semi-final match...Ezra Thomas versus Shoto Todoroki!"
The reaction was instantaneous. A stunned silence rippled through the stadium, quickly replaced by a thunderous wave of cheers, gasps, and murmurs. This was the match everyone had been anticipating, a clash between two of the festival's most powerful contenders.
Present Mic: "WOOOOAH!" Mic couldn't contain his excitement. "THIS IS IT, FOLKS! A FIGHT THAT'S BEEN BUILDING UP FROM THE START! TWO OF THE MOST TALKED-ABOUT STUDENTS GOING HEAD-TO-HEAD! THOMAS, WITH HIS UNBELIEVABLE BIOELECTRICITY, AND TODOROKI, WHO'S BEEN DOMINATING WITH THAT ICY, CHILLING POWER! CAN YOU FEEL THE TENSION?! I CAN!"
Momo: "This is going to be one of the greatest fights of the day," she whispered, her eyes wide with anticipation.
Bakugou: "Tch," he scoffed, his arms crossed. "I better get to face one of them in the final."
Meanwhile in South Side, Chicago. Elena, Leland, and Airi were watching the livestream, there was a different kind of tension. Elena's hand tightened around her phone, her eyes fixed on the screen where Ezra's name appeared.
Leland: "Ezra's going up against Todoroki..." he muttered, his voice laced with excitement. "Man, this is going to be intense."
Airi nodded; a slight worry in her eyes.
Airi: "He's strong, but Todoroki's no joke. I hope Ezra's ready for this..."
Elena, though nervous, remained composed.
Elena: "He'll be fine," she said softly, her voice filled with quiet confidence. "He's worked hard for this."
Back in the stadium, Midnight wasn't finished.
Midnight: "And in our second semi-final match...Katsuki Bakugou versus Fumikage Tokoyami!
Semi-final fixtures (Again, for those who give a damn)
