"i cant love you..." --------JEONGCHAN FF

{CHAPTER ONE}--He's in love--

Jeongin is in his room and talking on the phone with Felix on FaceTime, it is the night before the first day of school, jeongin is in a grade younger than his friends and two grades younger than his crush 'chan'. 
"I cant wait for tomorrow..." Jeongin said with a smile, Felix smirked. "why? so you can see chan?" Felix asked with a giggle. jeongin blushed and looked away from the phone screen. "well-, i-uh..." Jeongin stuttered. 
"oh, don't act like you don't have a thing for him! we all know you do!" Felix laughed. Jeongin looked back at the phone screen surprised. "w-what do you mean by 'all'?!" Jeongin asked panicked. "oh don't worry, I meant only me, jisung and seungmin know!" Felix said calming jeongin down. 
"oh, ok haha..." Jeongin sighed in relief. "but, would it be so bad if chan knew? I mean, everyone likes him, he's so popular, maybe he likes you too!? he's got to have eyes for someone, right?!" Felix said. 
Jeongin sat up quickly. "no! chan can not not!! he's like the straightest guy at our school!" Jeongin said glaring at Felix. "oh, come on! he cant be THAT straight!" Felix said rolling his eyes. "yes, he is... remember last year? that picture that was going around school of him kissing that girl?" Jeongin said recalling that moment from last year. 
"yeah, well.... that was his ex girlfriend, which means hes single now, and you can make him fall in love with you!" Felix said excitedly. "absolutely not! I would just make a fool outta myself!! I cant talk to him!" Jeongin said groaning. 
jeongin then looked at his phone. "wait, how did you know that was his ex girlfriend?" Jeongin asked raising an eyebrow. "well, uh-.... I may or may not be talking to changbin...." Felix said scratching his head. 
"WAIT-! THE changbin?!! chans best friend?!" Jeongin asked holding the phone close to his face. "yeah..." Felix said getting embarrassed. "since when has this been going on?" Jeongin asked. "since two weeks before the summer..." Felix started. 
"that's why you haven't hung out that much this summer, oh my god!!" Jeongin yelled. "yeah, I was hanging out with chanbin, haha...." Felix said blushing. "have you and him, y'know..." Jeongin hesitated, felix caught on. 
"yeah, pretty much all summer..." Felix giggles. Jeongin smiled. "im happy that you found someone you actually like..." Jeongin said. "thanks, Innie..." Felix said with a smile. "i have to go, now..." Jeongin said. "ok, i'll see you tomorrow at school..." Felix said. Jeongin nodded and then hug up. he sighed. 

The next day, jeongin woke up excited for the day, he got dressed in a light pink oversized hoodie, black sweatpants and black vans. Felix walks downstairs and saw his dad talking on the phone. he waved at seungmin and then went into another room. Jeongin sighed and then put his shoes on and grabbed his backpack. 
Jeongin walked out of the house and walked to the school, when he got there he saw seungmin, jisung and felix. the three run to jeongin and gave him a huge hug. jeongin hugged back. "we missed you!!" Jisung yelled. "we literally saw each other two weeks ago!" Jeongin yelled back with a smile. 
the four then pull away. "i cant believe it! we are finally juniors! well, except for you, jeongin..." Seungmin said with a smile. jeongin rolled his eyes. "yeah, yeah..." Felix saw changbin and smiled to himself. 
"why are you smiling like that?" Jisung asked with an eyebrow raised. felix shook his head and looked back at his friends. "i'll tell you guys later, lets head inside and get to class!" Felix said as he linked his arms with seungmin and jeongin and jisung linked his arm with jeongin. The three then go inside. 
Jeongin let his friends go. "im gonna find my locker and then get to my class, i'll see you guys during lunch, ok?" Jeongin asked. "ok, have a good first few classes!" Seungmin said waving. the three older then walked away. 
Jeongin sighed and then walked around, he found his locker and opened it, he put his stuff inside and then grabbed his computer and a folder for his first class, he closes his locker and then turns to walk away. 
Jeongin bumped into someone and he fell backwards, he dropped his stuff, he rubbed his head and then looked up at the person that he bumped into, he widened his eyes, he bumped into Bang Chan, the guy who he has a massive crush on for three years. 
Chan looked down at the fragile looking jeongin and then smiled. "im sorry about that, i should be more careful, i wasnt paying attention, are you ok?" Chan asked as he held his hand out to jeongin. 
jeongin hesitated and then grabbed chans hand. chan helped jeongin up and picked jeongins things up and handed them back to him. "your jeongin, right?" Chan asked. Jeongin froze, chan knew his name!? but how!?
Jeongin nodded. "y-yeah..." Jeongin stuttered. "im chris, or well Chan..." Chan said putting his hands in his pockets. "yeah, i know..." Jeongin said a faint blush on his face. "yeah, i think we had some classes together last year, right?" Chan said trying to recall. 
"y-yeah..." Jeongin said nodding. chan nodded as well. "well, i should go.... i'll see you around, jeongin..." Chan said as he pats jeongins shoulder and then walked away. Jeongin stood their frozen in shock. jeongin shook his head and then headed to his first class. he walked into hsi english class and found a seat in the back. 
He noticed two of chans friends in this class MInho and Changbin. Jeongin sighed and put his head on his desk. he closed his eyes, a few seconds later he felt someone tap on his shoulder. Jeongin looked up and saw changbin. Jeongin widened his eyes. 
'uhm, hey?" Jeongin asked confused. "hey, sorry, uh.... your friends with felix, right?" Changbin asked. "yeah, i am... why?" Jeongin asked raising an eyebrow. "can you tell him to meet me in the forbidden bathroom during lunch? i have to ask him something...." Changbin said with a smile. "what do you have to tell him?" Jeongin asked. 
"uh, its private..." Changbin said scratching his head. jeongin sighed and looked changbin in the eye. "i know you two have been sleeping together all summer basically, and that you are talking, so whatever you have to tell my best friend, you have to tell me..." jeongin said. chanbin sighed and nodded. 
"i want to ask him to be my official boyfriend..." Changbin said looking down. Jeongin smiled. "ok, he would love that, at least i think he would.... i'll tell him to meet you..." Jeongin said. "oh, thank you...." Changbin said before he went back to his seat. 
jeongin sighed and opened up his laptop because the teacher just walked in. "hello everyone! welcome back! hope you guys had a good summer, because you will be working very hard in this class! let me do attendence and then we will begin with introductions and your first assignment!" The teacher said as she picked up a clipboard. 
The teacher started saying names and the students raised their hands signaling that they were here. "Christopher bahng?" The teacher asked looking around. Chan runs through the door out of breath. "I'm here!! sorry I was late, I went to the wrong class!" Chan said going to the only empty seat which so happens to be in front of Jeongin. 
Jeongin smiled because he was excited to have chan in his class and sitting so close to him. chan turned and looked at Jeongin. "guess we are in the same class again this year..." Chan said with a smile. jeongin looked down at his desk. "yeah...." Jeongin mumbled. 
chan raises an eyebrow. "you ok?" Chan asked. "yeah, sorry... the truth is I cant believe your actually talking to me..." Jeongin said blushing a light pink. "why's that?" Chan asked. "b-because... your like a celebrity at this school..." Jeongin said looking at chan. 
"I guess so..." chan sighed. "did I say something wrong?" Jeongin asked. "no, I just done like being called a celebrity or popular...' Chan explained. jeongin nodded. "ok, I didn't know, I'm sorry..." jeongin said apologetic. "its ok, you didn't know..." Chan said with another smile. jeongin nodded.
