LiamLiam and Lucas circled each other, sizing up their next moves. Lucas lunged, aiming a punch to Liam's side, which Liam sidestepped swiftly.
"I guess you didn't claim her yet," Lucas flashed a quick grin."You are kind of agressive these days."
"Fuck off," Liam snorted, feinting left before twisting into a low sweep that knocked Lucas slightly off balance. "Our relationship is pure. We can wait...with everything." He shrugged.
Lucas burst out laughing. "That's bullshit! You need to bite her," he said with an exaggerated grimace, mocking Liam. "'Make love to her,' crown her as our Luna."
He threw a punch that Liam dodged with ease. "If other Alphas catch wind of this, it'll weaken your position."
Liam circled him, his entire posture shifting, a dangerous glint in his eyes. "They'd laugh at me?" The very idea was absurd. "They should worry about their own mates."
Lucas chuckled, watching Liam's moves carefully. "You'd come off as... incompetent if you can't even claim your own mate."
Liam smirked, shifting into a new stance. "Alphas are the worst gossips, I swear," he muttered, trying to sweep Lucas's legs. Lucas dodged just in time, his grin widening.
"C'mon, she's an Alpha female," Lucas sighed, ready for Liam's next strike. "You should show her... a bit of your skill."
"What?" Liam lunged at him.
Lucas dodged again, smirking. "Show her your strength, man."
"Maybe I should show her how I'll knock you out instead?" Liam laughed, his tone edged with threat. "She'd enjoy watching that."
Lucas sighed, rolling his eyes. "Yeah, you're right. Can't say she's a fan of mine right now."
Liam shook his head, circling him with a smirk. "I'll think about it. Thanks for the solid advice."
Lucas shrugged. "Didn't think I'd end up giving you tips on how to seduce a she-wolf, honestly. You must be getting old."
Liam lunged again, letting out a low growl, which only made Lucas grin wider.
"Have you considered teaching her a few self-defense moves?" Lucas asked, his tone shifting to something more serious.
"We know she has some basics. Bring her in here, test her out. I'll tell her it's for her own good. Maybe let her take a few swings at me, get it out of her system."
Liam raised an eyebrow, chuckling under his breath. "Trying to get her to like you?"
Lucas shrugged. "Maybe a little, but it'll give you a chance to show off. She'll see your strength, see who's in charge."
"Medieval little shit,"Liam chuckled, wiping his brow as he backed up. "Go on, then."
Lucas jogged off, leaving Liam stretching out on the ring. A moment later, Lucas returned, bringing Anne along with him. She wore a frown, her eyes narrowing at Liam.
"Lucas said you wanted to teach me some self-defense moves," she said, her tone skeptical. "So I can punch him to dead."
"That's not what I said," Lucas rolled his eyes. "Just a little damage is good enough."
"I want to see what you already know," Liam corrected with a slight smirk. "so I can teach you even more."
Anne's mouth curved into a wicked grin. "I see."
Without missing a beat, she peeled off her T-shirt, leaving her in a sports bra and shorts.
Lucas's eyes widened, and he turned away, shielding his face dramatically with both hands.
