Jackson's voice shook with frustration as he spoke into his phone, each word growing sharper by the second. He was at the edge of his patience, pacing around his office with his free hand clenched into a fist.

"Sana, are you even listening to me? Nayeon's missing!"

On the other end of the line, Sana's response was maddeningly casual, as if Jackson were talking about something as trivial as a missing sock.

"Relax, Jackson. Maybe she's just... out shopping? You know how Nayeon is. She probably forgot to tell us where she was going."

Jackson's fingers drummed against the side of his desk, his face tight with frustration.

"Sana, I don't think you understand. It's been hours. No calls, no texts, nothing! This isn't like her" Jackson's voice grew strained, almost pleading. "She's not the type to just disappear."

Sana's voice came through with an airy laugh. "Oh, come on. It's Nayeon. Maybe she's just taking a break from all the drama. I mean, can you blame her?!"

Jackson gritted his teeth, mentally counting to ten.

"Sana, this isn't some prank. I'm serious. We're talking about Nayeon, your friend. She wouldn't just vanish. Stop acting like it's nothing."

Sana sighed, almost sounding annoyed, which only made Jackson's patience wear even thinner.

"Okay, okay, don't freak out, Jackson. Maybe she's with a friend, or... what if she's hiding from someone, like some sort of secret mission?"

Jackson closed his eyes, pressing his fingers against his temples.

"Secret mission? Sana, I'm about to lose my mind here. You know what? I'll handle this. Just... stop talking."

Without waiting for her to respond, he ended the call, muttering to himself. "I swear, she's going to be the death of me."
