"Just act frickin' normal." Kiara stated.

"Evening, officers." Pope greeted.

"Evening." Deputy Shoupe greeted the group with a nod. The female deputy tossed a rope to the HMS Pogue, which JJ caught and expertly tied, securing the boats together, since out of the three he was more experienced.

"How you kids doing? You know the marsh is closed?" Deputy Shoupe spoke again.

"Wow..No." Pope shook his head.

"I didn't know that." JJ replies.

"The closed sign must of suken." Frankie commented, causing the blonde to stare at her with a slight smirk.

Pope stared at the red head in the corner of his eye before looking back at the two deputies. "Why is it closed?"

Deputy Shoupe looked back at the other Deputy before turning to look back at the teens. "Well, we're conducting a search out here. Boat went down. Seen anything?"

"No." JJ replies.

"No boats. No." Pope replies also.

"Where's your friend you always hang with? He here?" Shoupe questioned. The four stared at each other, seeing who would speak first. If they all said it together at the same time, then the two Deputy would of known they are up to something.

"He's working." Kiara replies, with a smile.

"Hm. I'm gonna check your little boat out." Deputy Shoupe marched onto the boat, hardly giving the teens a chance to respond. Pope stood up from the driver's seat, attempting a smile that seemed more nervous than confident. "You wanna check- Uh, check her out." He stepped aside as Shoupe began his inspection. Frankie looked over at JJ, who returned her gaze with a small, reassuring smile. Shoupe picked up the life jacket, holding it up and asking, "You got another one?" He turn, staring at Pope and JJ.

"Yeah..its in the hold." JJ replies

"Show him." Kiara offered, as she stood up pulling Frankie along with her.

JJ stepped to the side, making room for Shoupe to pass. Frankie moved out of the way as well, allowing him to reach the storage compartment. "Yeah, here you go," JJ said, pulling out the second life jacket for Shoupe, "All right.." Although Shoupe responded, he seemed indifferent. He walked along the boat's edge, heading to the front placing on his sunglasses for a better view below the surface, the four passengers watching anxiously. They hoped he wouldn't spot John B's presence in the water beneath them.

"All right." Deputy Shoupe replied turning to look back at them.

"All right?" JJ slightly mimicked, squeezing Frankie's hand.

"Beautiful day." Shoupe spoke, walking back to where the police bottle was. "Let us know if you see anything on your way out." He states climbing back onto his boat, untie the rope from around the HMS pogue.

"Sure will." Pope nodded.

"We'll be gone soon, sir." JJ reasured.

"Yes, you will." Deputy Shoupe replies, as the boat engine roared to life and the police officers sailed away, the teens rushed to the side, their anxiety slowly subsiding.

"He's definitely out of air," Pope stated with concern. Just then, John B broke through the surface, pulling off his goggles and spitting out the oxygen mouthpiece.

"There he is!" JJ smiled.

"Thank god.." Frankie sighed, letting go of JJ's hand, brushing her hand through her hair.
