The previous day's events weighed heavily on the group's minds, and with a shared sense of weariness, they agreed to get some rest back at home. It wasn't every day you experienced a high-speed boat chase with two hostile pursuers, after all. So the group thought that they should do separate activities that didn't involve the newly discovered compass. The following morning, Frankie woke up with the intention of visiting the skatepark since she already had a board back at home. The brunette considered buying a new skateboard, seeing it will cure her boredom and replace the one she had broken over Topper to leave back at the Château.

As she turned the corner at the skatepark, she recognized two familiar faces standing there. JJ and John B. It turned out that John B had planned to visit Lana Grubbs in search of information about the compass and Scooter, and he had decided to bring along JJ and Frankie for the trip, since Kiara and Pope would be against the idea. He chose them two because they knew they wouldn't object, and Frankie had a some skills for keeping JJ in check well mostly. And sp, that where Frankie found herself sitting in the backseat of the Twinkie, as John B took the driver's seat and JJ settled comfortably in the passenger seat, the two of them talking about things she didnt pay attention too.

"I'm just saying, I don't understand why you don't at least try with Kiara. She clearly likes you." JJ spoke bringing Frankie out of her thoughts.

"She's like, 'Oh, John B.' " JJ micked, leaning his head back.

"Is that what she does? Frankie is that true?" John B questioned.

Frankie shook her head, looking over her shoulder to stare at the two. "Hmm sorry would answer but girls have this code where we don't speak the truth."

JJ chuckled shaking his head. "She's sketching about you diving, then she kissed you bro."

"She kissed me on the cheek." John B reminded, "It's not like we were makin' out."

"Frankie! Come on back me up on this." JJ begged looking at the red head with pleading eyes.

"It's still count as a kiss, even if it didn't make contact on your lips it still as kiss." Frankie pointed out.

"Don't pretend you don't notice, I see it in your eyes. You're like, 'I kinda like that,' and you start blushing." JJ states.

"I blush?" John B questioned.

"Hmmm I guess, didn't really notice.." Frankie shrugged her shoulders, shaking her head she turned round away from the two blocking out their conversation. It wasn't as entertaining as it was before. After a few minutes driving they eventually arrived at their destination house that was surrounded by trees and potholes covered the ground. The two boys jumped out of the car, JJ sliding open the back down helping Frankie climb out.

"Awww so you can be a gentleman JJ." Frankie teased.

"Only for you princess." JJ chuckled winking down at the brunette, the two of them making their way after John B who walked ahead.

The three of them make their way up towards the house, ready to search for their answers but suddenly a sound of a object being thrown around only made them the group stop in their tracks. Then sounds of shouting and screaming filled their eyes, making them glance at each other.

"Maybe we should come back later, it's a little too soon." JJ states, his tone filled with nerves and anxious.

"No, no." John B quickly refuses.

"Tell me where it is, or I'll fuck you up!" A male voice shouted, "I'll sink you in the fucking--"

His voice was then abruptly cut off by another crashing sound, a woman voice who appeared to be Lana screamed out petrified at the situation. Frankie ears where filled up with Lana's screams and shouts, her head slowly turned to look at JJ who stood beside her. The blonde could only stare forward his face showing fear, which only made the brunette feel bad. She didn't know much about his home life, other than his dad a complete asshole but the way he acting. She could tell he was petrified.
