Chapter 33

"A in family stands for affection and attachment."

🔴New Orleans, Louisiana🔴

It had been 2 weeks, since things had conspired, and it was eventful to say the least.

The Mikaelsons had back moved into their home, the compound in the middle of the French Quarter. The Bennetts had found themselves staying in their family home, getting the time to bond and know each other, as well as Harmony and Hailey. The young Claire witch had also found herself a home at the Bennett-Boudreaux Residence. Bonnie caused hell, specifically inside the church over that young girl, so much so that the men had no other options, but to hand the young girl over, who had been too happy to leave. 

The women, plus Dewayne were currently headed out to the Bayou in search of the young woman 'Maria'. The girls were interested to know more about their families and their history together.

"These bugs are hell." Marina complained exiting out the passenger seat of the newly brought Range Rover of Bonnie Bennett. Klaus had taken his role seriously and went out and brought her a new car just last week that was roomy enough to fit twin babies. 

"I swear, we need to hurry up and leave." Adrien groaned, swapping at the bug flying in her direction.

"It's crazy to see you complaining, Marina, especially when just a couple of weeks ago; you were out here taking care of Elijah, and you didn't even blink at a bug." Valentina spoke, slapping hands with Hailey and Harmony.

"Oh, shut up." Marina rolled her eyes at the three women before she walked off, following behind Bonnie.

"I see you all made it." Maria spoke, shortly approaching the group of women, who stood in front of the home near the water stream.

"Hi, it's nice to see you again." Marina spoke first, motioned her hand to the rest of the women, "This is Bonnie-" 

"I know who she is already, just as I do with rest of you," Maria spoke, motioning her index finger in the direction of the girls, "Adrien, Carmina, Valentina, Lucy, Davina, and lastly Andrea, and Amina."

"I'm sorry?"

"You two." She her eyesight landing on Harmony and Hailey, "Those are your real names, let's talk over here, we have a lot to catch up on, we are missing two of you, but that's okay for now. We have plenty of time."

Back over in the French quarter Klaus had been having a formal gathering with the vampires of New Orleans, whom who had questions and concerns about the new changes in leadership.

"I invited you all here tonight to assure you that you have not been defeated. No, my intentions moving around are to celebrate what we have, what Marcel, in fact took and built into this a true community of vampires."

"So, what about her?" Diego questioned.

"What about who?" Marcel questioned him back.

"The witch, that he's been with." Diego spoke rolling his eyes at the vampire and hybrid at the table.

"Had you let me finish, Diego, you would know that this is another important matter that we need to discuss." Klaus motioned his drink in his direction, "I assume you all know that the witch's name is Bonnie, and she is in fact carrying my children, consequently I trust that you will all pay her the respect she deserves, or I'll kill most of you here and turn new vampires to replace you. However, I understand that some of you are concerned by the vicious rumor that I intend to use the blood of our children to create hybrids. I assure you, I do not." He spoke lastly before he moved around the other side of the table.

"Great, Father of the year." Rebekah spoke, she was still upset about Klaus sending a group a vampires to target a guy that she had been seeing, and consequently, he compelled the man to "forget his sister or else he would rip of his spine." and the man had done just that he moved away to France and never returned.

The group of vampires did nothing but stare at him, they didn't trust a word that had came out of his mouth all day and they weren't about to start now, that is.

"It appears that I will have to earn your trust. Very Well. We'll eliminate the root of your anxiety. You see, how can I sire any hybrids, if there are no more werewolves in the Bayou left to turn?"

"What? No!" Rebekah panicked. The girls were currently out there learning more about their family's history and here was Klaus attempting to tear all of that away.

"So, eat, drink and be merry, and tomorrow I suggest yourselves have a little wolf hunt. Go ahead, have fun and kill them all.
