Ara slowly, painfully opened her eyes, every part of her body gripped by a tense, throbbing ache as if a heavy weight were pressing down on her.

Her eyelids felt sore and stubborn, barely willing to open as her brows knitted with the effort. She blinked, trying to take in her surroundings or remember what had happened last night.

Then, like a jolt, it struck her—her current state was all thanks to the oxycodone she'd taken.

A fog clouded her mind, fragments from the night before flickering back in bits and pieces, too hazy to grasp fully.

Glancing around at the unfamiliar surroundings, her eyes widened slightly when they settled on Jeonghan.

He was slumped in a chair, fast asleep with his phone still in hand, as if he'd dozed off accidentally while in the middle of his game.

Her eyes widened even more as fragments from the previous night began to surface, blurry but unmistakable.

She could only remember pieces, yet one detail stood out—she had practically pleaded with him, urging him to take advantage of her, just like he used to.

The memory alone made her cringe, and a flush of shame spread through her. She felt the instinctive urge to slap herself, inwardly cursing for having let her guard down so easily.

Ara prided herself on staying strong, yet every time she looked into his eyes, something inside her softened, weakening her hard exterior until it felt nearly impossible to keep her defenses up.

Then, as if struck by lightning, her mind zeroed in on the reason she'd taken such a powerful opioid: Jungkook. He was supposed to help her pack her things today.

Startled by the sudden memory, she scrambled out of bed, the world tipping and swirling around her as she struggled to keep her balance.

Her legs felt unsteady, her vision blurred as the room spun with each step she took.

At that moment, Jeonghan stirred from his sleep. He blinked drowsily, his eyes narrowing slightly as he adjusted to the room's dim light, then focused on her.

Sensing her frantic movement, he sat up, the phone slipping from his hand as he rubbed his eyes.

His voice was rough and raspy with sleep as he called out, "Ara?"

She decided it was best to completely ignore him. Not only was it the only way she could hold herself together and keep from crumbling in front of him, but the embarrassment still lingered, creeping into her thoughts whenever her memory teased her with last night's events.

Although some of the details were hazy, one moment stood out clearly: her pleading with him to, well...take advantage of her.

That alone was enough to make her cheeks burn, fueling her resolve to stay distant—even if it took all her strength to keep up the act.
