She gave a mischievous wink, her hand slipping into Ac's and tugging her up gently. “Kasi alam ko, gutom ka na rin.”

They both laughed as they headed down from the rooftop and into their shared kitchen.

“Mave—kahit ano pa ang mangyari, kahit saan tayo dalhin ng mga pangarap natin, ikaw pa rin ang pipiliin ko.”

After breakfast, they decided to spend the day exploring their little world together.

They wandered around the city hand in hand, stopping at bookshops and quaint cafes, stealing kisses as they went.

“Mave” Cress whispered, her voice barely audible, “Will you stay by my side, always?”

Maven kissed the top of her head, her voice filled with quiet certainty. “I will, Cress, hanggang sa huli. Ikaw lang, walang dulo”

"Wo ai ni" She added as Cress melted with her words.

"Gihigugma ko ikaw usab, Maven"
