You Belong God.
You might not belong with the cool kids, the team you didn't make, or in the accelerated class at school, but you do belong in a way that matters more than any of those.
Yes, you belong to God! This belonging to God gives you a superpower of sorts. Obviously not a superpower like girls in the movies; it's a power even stronger.
You have God Himself living inside you! His power is stronger than any bad feelings we might have from not belong-ing. It is stronger than the devil and any way that he may choose to try to mess up your life and your relationship with God. His power in us can overcome any thoughts that try to make us feel sad or upset.
Sometimes we might not recognize that He is with us and helping us. The voices of others, as well as our own, can be loud; trying to drown out His voice of strength inside. When this happens to me, I know that I need to get alone and be quiet. I need to read verses like this one in 1 John 4:4 (NIV) 'and remind my mind and heart.'" . . . "'the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.'"
It's so important that we know God's Word for ourselves; that we read it over and over again. That way, when we are in the times when our mind, our enemy, or other people come at us, we know what God's Word says about us: we belong to God! He is in us and because He is, we can overcome anything!
