It all started one evening when Anika, in a fit of frustration, complained about the skyrocketing price of avocados. She had been craving a perfect, creamy avocado toast, but when she checked the price, she nearly fainted. "This is robbery! I can't believe I'm paying this much for a fruit!" she grumbled, holding up the tiny, overpriced avocado like it was some sort of ancient artifact.
Shivaay, who was lounging on the couch, reading some business reports, overheard her from across the room. He raised an eyebrow at her complaint. "What's the problem with the avocado?"
"Shivaay, it's too expensive!" Anika threw her hands in the air dramatically. "I mean, for something that's essentially just a glorified pear, this is madness!"
Shivaay looked up from his reports, a thoughtful expression on his face. "You really like avocados that much?"
Anika nodded vigorously. "Yes! It's creamy, it's healthy, it goes with everything! But I can't keep spending this much on them. I should start a petition or something."
Shivaay, who had a tendency to fixate on problems once they were presented to him, suddenly had a light bulb moment.

The next day, Anika was in the kitchen preparing breakfast when she received a call from Shivaay. "Anika, I need you to meet me at the office. I've made a big decision."
Anika raised an eyebrow, wondering what this was about. "What decision?"
"Just meet me. It's a surprise," Shivaay said, his voice unusually serious.
Curious and slightly confused, Anika arrived at the Oberoi offices. As soon as she walked in, she was greeted by the sight of a massive folder filled with paperwork on Shivaay's desk. He motioned for her to sit down, his face glowing with excitement.
"What's all this, Shivaay?" Anika asked, eyeing the folder suspiciously.
Shivaay grinned widely. "This, my dear, are the papers of your very own avocado farm."
Anika blinked. "My very own WHAT??"
"Your own avocado farm," Shivaay repeated. "I bought it. It's yours. All for you."
Anika stared at him, her mouth agape. "You... bought an avocado farm? Shivaay, what are you even talking about?"
Shivaay shrugged nonchalantly. "You complained about how expensive avocados are, so I thought I should solve the problem at its root. I bought you a farm. Now you can grow as many avocados as you want, anytime."
Anika blinked several times, trying to process the information. "You... you bought a farm? Just for avocados? But... I was joking! I didn't mean it literally!"
Shivaay smiled, looking as proud as a peacock. "I know. But I decided, why not? If you want avocados, you'll have all the avocados you can eat, whenever you want them. It's a smart investment too. Avocado demand is rising, you know."
Anika, still in shock, stood up. "Shivaay, this is insane! This is too much! You didn't need to—"
But Shivaay was already pulling up an official document on his tablet. "Here, I signed all the papers. It's official now."
Anika's brain was working overtime, and finally, she managed to collect her thoughts. "Wait, so what now? What do I do with an avocado farm?"
Shivaay's grin widened. "Well, that's up to you! You can grow your own avocados, sell them, or just enjoy an endless supply. I even arranged for the farm workers to deliver fresh avocados to the house every week. Your avocado cravings will never be the same again."
Anika, completely overwhelmed, plopped back down in the chair. "I can't believe this," she muttered. "You really went ahead and bought an entire farm for me... for avocados?"
Shivaay nodded. "Of course. You deserve it. You're my wife, Anika. If you want something, I'll make sure you get it—no matter how ridiculous it might seem."
A few weeks later, the Oberoi family was in for a surprise. The Oberoi's kitchen had transformed into an avocado wonderland. There were avocado smoothies, avocado salads, avocado toast, avocado ice cream—avocados in every conceivable form. Anika even started putting avocado on her sandwiches, on her pasta, and on her pizza.
Shivaay, who initially thought his plan would be met with gratitude, was starting to regret his extravagant gesture. "Anika," he said one evening as they sat down for dinner, "I think you might be overdoing the avocado thing."
Anika, holding up a slice of avocado toast, looked at him with a mischievous smile. "What? It's healthy and delicious! Besides, I now have an endless supply. Thanks to you."
Rudra, who had been watching Anika and Shivaay from the other side of the room, suddenly burst out laughing. "You're eating avocados like it's your new religion! I can't believe you've turned into an avocado fanatic!"
Shivaay groaned, running a hand through his hair. "I didn't think this through..."
Om, ever the voice of reason, raised an eyebrow. "Of course, Shivaay. You didn't. A crate of avocados would have been sufficient."
But Anika was unbothered. She simply winked at Shivaay and took another bite of her avocado toast. "You made my dream come true, Shivaay. I'll never need to worry about the price of avocados again."
Shivaay sighed. "What have I done?"
And so, the Oberoi mansion became the place to be if you were an avocado lover. The family members joked that they might even get an avocado tree planted in the backyard to complete the transformation. But no one was complaining—except Shivaay, who now had to deal with the endless supply of avocados... forever.
