A/n- guess who's favorite author came back with another delicious hehehe🤠, I was cooking up tonight before I went to bed so enjoy

It's been hours since your tried to get the codes correct but with no avail you failed to which led to a lot of problems and a little to much reminders or recent events. you are exhausted, mentally and physically. You had tried multiple times to solve the code, only to be met with failure.
The consequences were immediate and severe , the guards were not gentle. Your clothes were torn in some places, burn marks from the probes visible on your skin. Your face was bruised and bloodied from the beating with the probes, a physical representation of the mental and emotional toll of everything you've endured so far. You lay sprawled on the floor, the fluorescent lights above seeming to taunt you with their brightness. Every part of your body ached, the pain from the burns and bruises mixing with the exhaustion in your bones. Dutch watched silently from a distance, studying you with calculating eyes. The other guards stood off to the side, their expressions hard and unfeeling.

Finally, Dutch spoke, his voice cutting through the silence.
"You're in a real sorry state, aren't you?"
He walked toward you, stopping a few feet away and looking down at you. There was no pity in his expression just cold, clinical observation.
"This isn't exactly how I envisioned your first day here."
he commented, crouching down to be at eye level.
"I must admit, the results aren't quite as impressive as I hoped."
The words stung, a sharp contrast to the physical pain radiating through your body. You struggled to sit up, the effort almost too much to bear.Dutch watched dispassionately as you fought to pull yourself off the ground.
"Look at you."
he said, his tone almost pitying.
"You're just a mess right now."
He spoke in that same emotionless tone.
He stood up, kicking you as he did so, a sharp blow to your already battered side.
"You need to do better"
he said, his voice betraying none of the satisfaction he felt.
"If you can't even handle a few probes, how are you supposed to handle the rest?"

You try to sit up, your body protesting with every attempt. Every muscle aches from the exertion, your muscles quaking from the strain. Tears sting your eyes as you struggle against the pain, your body refusing to cooperate. Each movement is agony, your battered and bruised body screaming in protest as you fight to regain your composure. In the corners of your vision, you catch glimpses of the guards watching you, their expressions a mix of cold indifference and cold satisfaction. The fluorescent lights above cast harsh shadows across your face, outlining every bruise and gash with stark contrast.
You can feel the cold eyes of Dutch upon you, the weight of his gaze adding to the crushing sense of defeat.
Your body shakes with the effort of sitting up straight, your back screaming in pain at the effort. Each breath is a struggle, your lungs burning from the exertion. The silence in the room is heavy, the only sound being the harsh, ragged breaths that escape your lips. Your hands search for purchase on the cold floor, your fingers grasping in vain for something to support you. You know you can't give up, not now, but the pain is overwhelming, and the thought of standing seems almost impossible.

"I can't do the codes..."
You rasped out quietly , the pain in your tone being evident as you spoke.
Dutch's eyes narrow, his expression hardening at your words.
"What do you mean, 'you can't do the codes'?"
He takes a step forward, towering over you.
"You're not giving up already, are you? You haven't even been here a day."
He gave a slight glare.
"We didn't bring you here for your sparkling personality," he said in a cold tone.
"We brought you here for your mind. I suggest you start using it."
He took another step closer, his face inches from yours.
"You're smarter than this"
he hissed, his tone laced with menace as he was starting to grow frustrated with you.
"Stop acting like a coward and do what you're supposed to do. Or do I need to provide additional..support to make amends meet."

Your eyes widened as the sudden change in tone. Your eyes dart up to him quickly as you hear the words roll of his tongue in a way that didn't sit right with you. It didn't feel right.
"What.."
You questioned quietly as you were confused but knowing that you were on thin ice if not already treading in water.
"Yknow beating my senseless ain't gonna make me think more..fucking might be giving me brain damage at this point...god for all this bullshit sometimes I wish I died in that crash
You coughed up as you glared at him with watery eyes.
"Watch your tongue."
He glared down at you through his skull mask.
"But for now your logic is acknowledged....you will be dismissed for now and brought back to your room for further resting and practice until you can get it correct. We do not need a brain hemorrhage from you."
He motioned for one of the other guards to open the door and he swiftly grabbed your hands before practically dragging you out of the room and back into the hallway.

For one stay they new would be long , for it would only go worse one new to stay strong. It was inevitable that danger found a way but one protector new he had to get them out of the way.
