● Three Simple Words ●

"Yeosang?"

"In the kitchen! Just a second!" I heard him yell, making me chuckle as I took off my shoes and coat before I walked towards the living area, "Sorry, I was feeding Jageun- Oh my God, Heeseung, what happened?" He asked putting his hands on the sides of my face when he walked into the living area and saw my black eye.

"You think that this looks bad, you should see the other guy," I said with a chuckle and his eyes widened, "I'm totally kidding. I'm not a fighter, I'm more of a lover."

"Babe, what happened?" He asked, making me sigh and I sat down on the couch.

"It was Hendery," I said looking at my hands, "After I was finished with my classes, he approached me in the hall. I just let him get his hit in, and say what he wanted."

"And what did he say?" He asked sitting down beside me.

"Just how I'm supposed to be his friend and how friends aren't supposed to date each other's exs and that I don't deserve you, blah blah blah. I zoned out," I said looking at him and he sighed looking at his hands, "Baby, it's okay-"

"I'll be back. Watch Jageun," He said standing up from the couch.

"Where are you going?" I asked standing up as well and followed him to the door.

"To kick his ass," He said putting his shoes and coat on, and before I could say anything, he was out the door...

Yeosang's POV.

I banged on his dorm door nonstop until it swung open to reveal an annoyed Hendery until he realized it was me and smiled a little.

"Oh, yeo-"

"What the hell is wrong with you!" I yelled pushing him back a bit and he rolled his eyes, "You had no right, going after Heeseung like that-"

"I have every right! He's dating you!" He said making me chuckle as I looked at him and I shook my head.

"What does that matter? He's not your friend and I'm not your boyfriend-"

"For now!" He said making my eyes widen.

"Are you out of your mind? Not ever again. Hendery, you and I are completely over."

"No we aren't, because we are meant for each other-"

"Oh my God...You're crazy," I said with a laugh, "We broke up because you didn't want a family with me. We clearly aren't meant for each other, especially when we want different things."

"Okay, then tell me...Do you feel for him what you feel for me?" He asked, making me look at him for a moment before I sighed and shook my head, making him smile a bit.

"I don't feel anything towards you but hatred," I said, making his smile drop and he shook his head, putting his hands on my waist.

"Baby-"

"Don't baby me," I said pushing his hands off me, "Just leave me and my boyfriend alone. We're happy," I said looking into his glossy eyes and left, swallowing a lump in my throat.

When I got back to my dorm, I took off my shoes and coat before walking into the living area to see Heeseung playing with Jageun in the floor before he looked up and smiled widely as he stood up from the floor.

"Hey, how'd it go? Are you okay?" He asked walking towards me and wrapped his arms around my waist and I nodded wrapping my arms around his neck.

"I'm okay. Don't worry, he won't bother us anymore. Now let me look at your eye and put an ice pack on it," I said before kissing him softly and he hummed against my lips before we pulled away and went to the kitchen.

I took an ice pack out of the freezer and turned to face him, putting it gently under his eye and we smiled, looking at each other and he put his hand on the side of my face.

"Yeosang, I promise that I'm okay," He said putting his other hand on mine, bringing the ice pack down from his face, "What he did or does in life doesn't affect me...Not anymore because I have you and....I really like you."

"Heeseung, I really like you too," I said smiling at him, before kissing him softly and felt him smile against my lips before we pulled away, "Do you...Want to stay the night?"

"I'd love to, but are you sure?" He asked looking at me and I nodded smiling before he smiled widely and pulled me into a hug, making me chuckle and I put my face in the crook of his neck.

If I could just say those three simple words, but I don't want to freak him out...

Heeseung's POV.

If I could just say those three simple words, but I know that he wants to go slow...

Laying in his bed together felt a bit awkward. We didn't exactly know how to lay or if we should cuddle or not. I've never spent the night before and he's never stayed at my dorm...

We both laid on our backs, looking at the ceiling in the dark and it was quiet besides the sound of our breathing and Jageun's snores as she slept at the foot of the bed.

"Yeosang? Are you...Comfortable?" I asked turning my head to look at him.

"Honestly....No. Are you?" He asked looking at me.

"No...I really want to hold you," I said, making him smile widely before he turned onto his side and wrapped his arms around my waist and tangled his legs with mine and I chuckled before turning onto my side and wrapped my arms around him.

"This better?"

"So much better."

"I agree," He said smiling and I kissed his forehead, "Heeseung?"

"Hm?"

"I...I really want to say something, but...I don't know how you feel," He said making me look at him and I caressed his cheek softly.

"Baby, you can say anything to me. You know that, right? Whatever it is, I'm here to listen."

"Mm," He hummed before putting his face in my chest.

"Yeo...I really want to say something to you too, but I'm afraid you'll think it's too soon and leave, " I said, making him look at me.

"I'd never leave you," He said making me smile, before I kissed him softly and felt him smile against my lips before we pulled away and I moved to lay on my back as he moved to straddle my lap before laying on me, putting his face in the crook of my neck and I pet his head, "I'm yours, Heeseung," I heard him whisper and I hummed before kissing his cheek softly.

"I've always been yours, Yeosang," I whispered rubbing his back and felt him place a kiss on my neck, "I adore you."

"I adore you, too."

My heart belongs to you...
