"He called me and said that he wants to have dinner with us tomorrow night to talk about everything," My mom said, making me sigh as I looked at my hands on the table, "I told him that I would talk to you about it first. I understand completely if you don't want to, but I would never keep you away from your father-"

"Jongchul is not my father. Never has been and never will be," I said looking at her and she nodded before putting her hands on mine.

"Honey, this is completely your decision. If you don't want to, I'll call him and tell him no."

"I'll go under one condition. My husband has to come. I don't go anywhere without him. Does he even know that I'm married again?"

"No, I didn't tell him, because I didn't think it was my place to tell him that and I didn't know if you wanted him to know."

"Well, he's gonna know tomorrow and if he says anything bad about my relationship or especially Wooyoung, I am completely done with him."

"Okay, I'll call him and set it up," She said making me nod, "Where is Wooyoung?"

"Practice. He should be home later," I said, making her nod.

"Well, I'm sorry for ruining your day with this. It definitely ruined my day," She said making me chuckle and I shook my head, "But, I do love you, honey. I always will," She said making me smile and I stood up from my chair and walked towards her, wrapping my arms around her shoulders from behind her chair and kissed her cheek softly.

"You could never ruin my day, mom, and I will always love you, too," I said making her smile at me.

"You know. I think that despite everything. You grew up well."

"Really?" I asked sitting down beside her and she nodded.

"You're handsome and kind. Complete opposite of your- Jongchul."

"Well, that's because I had an amazing mother who raised me with love, despite everything."

"Aw, I love you so much, my little mochi," She said making me groan and she chuckled.

"Please never call me that in front of Wooyoung. I'll never hear the end of it."

"Aww, but it's so cute! I used to call you mochi because of your little chubby cheeks when you were little," She said squishing my cheeks together and I chuckled smiling.

"Babe, I'm home!" I heard Wooyoung yell, making my eyes widen.

"Mochi stays between us," I whispered, making her nod before Wooyoung came into the kitchen.

"Oh, hi mom!" He said smiling widely before he hugged her from behind her chair and she chuckled.

"Hi sweetie," She said, before kissing his cheek and he sat down on the other side of her.

"What about me?" I asked raising an eyebrow at him.

"What about you?"

"Where's my Hello, hug and kiss?" I asked, making him roll his eyes with a smile.

"God, my husband is so needy," He said making my mom and I chuckle as he stood up from his chair and walked towards me, wrapping his arms around my shoulders and I wrapped my arm around his waist as he kissed me.

"And you are a brat," I said before lightly slapping his butt, making him gasp.

"Hey!" He said hitting my chest lightly, "Not in front of parents. You know that."

"I'm sorry. Is your butt okay?" I asked rubbing it and he hummed with a nod before I kissed his cheek softly before we looked at my mom to see her smiling at us, "What?"
