● Chocolate and Strawberries ●

I quietly walked through the front door and carefully closed it before walking towards the kitchen to set everything up before San woke up.

Yesterday was valentines day and we couldn't spend it together because I had to work the whole day. But today I'm going to surprise him with chocolates, macarons and purple roses.

I placed the macarons and chocolates on a plate and put the plate on a tray before I started making coffee for us.

After the coffee was done, I poured it into two mugs and put them on the tray. After making sure that everything was perfect, I made my way upstairs to the bedroom and slowly opened the door to see him hugging my pillow in his sleep, making me chuckle quietly with a smile.

I put the tray on his bedside table before putting my hand on the side of his face, caressing it with my thumb and kissed his forehead softly.

"Good morning, handsome," I said smiling at him when he hummed before stretching his arms and yawned.

"Mm, good morning, beautiful," He said before grabbing my hand and pulled me into bed with him, making me chuckle and he smiled widely, wrapping his arms around my waist, "Five more minutes," He said, closing his eyes and put his face in the crook of my neck.

"Fine, then I guess that you don't want the chocolates and macarons I got for you."

"macarons," He said opening his eyes and I nodded smiling before I kissed him softly and felt him smile against my lips.

"Happy late valentines day, baby," I whispered caressing his cheek softly making him smile widely before he kissed me once more.

He sat up against the headboard of the bed and I straddled his lap and picked up the plate from the tray.

"The macaron flavors are lemon and lavender, Strawberry cheesecake, caramel mocha, green tea and vanilla. The chocolate is just caramel. I also got you purple roses, because roses are your favorite flower and purple is your favorite color and purple roses can symbolize love at first sight or the beginnings of a romance."

"Oh, how romantic," He said smiling at me and I nodded as he kissed my jawline.

"Here, try one of the macarons," I said picking up a strawberry cheesecake one and let him take a bite of it.

"Mm, it's very delicious," He said as I ate the rest of it and nodded, "Baby, you didn't have to do all this."

"I know, but we missed our first valentines day not just as a couple, but as a married couple, because I had to work, and I felt bad. I missed you the whole day. I didn't know that the Cafe would be so busy on valentines day and I'm sorry."

"Baby, don't apologize. As you said, you didn't know and that's okay. The important thing is that we're together now, right?" He said, rubbing my sides and I nodded before kissing him softly.

"I love you, Sannie."

"Baby, I love you, too."

"I love you more."

"I love you, infinity," He said making me smile widely and he fed me a piece of chocolate, "You're so beautiful, you know that?"

"And you're so cheesy, you know that?" I asked, making him chuckle and nod.

"But you love it."

"Absolutely," I said putting the putting the plate down and wrapped my arms around his neck, before kissing him and he hummed against my lips.

"You taste like chocolate," He whispered.

"You taste like strawberries."

"Mm, chocolate and strawberries. A perfect match."
