Author's POV:-

Misha was in her thoughts about Vedansh when the horn from the car made her come out of her trase.

She looked and saw that her car was at a signal as the driver was driving.

A smile tugged on her lips recalling the breakfast incident. Even though she didn't voice it out, she enjoyed his cute and silly behavior.

The way he always brings flowers for her and sometimes her favorite  food item . Being a big foodie she accepts the food but also warns him that ' It's not food's fault , that's why I'm not wasting it.'

Smile vanished from recalling that he didn't visit her today . She was a bit upset that he didn't come but she shrugged it off thinking that he might be busy or something .

The signal turned green as the driver started the car . She was feeling uneasy from the  morning and didn't know why.

But she didn't entertain the thoughts thinking she might be overthinking.

The car stopped in front of her office before she could open the door. Someone opened it for her and a hand came in her view as a gesture to come out.

She looked up and saw him standing there . A sudden rush of anger boiled into her . So she sided his hand and came out on her own and shut the door harshly.

She hissed at the door and slammed loudly .

" What is your problem? Just go away ." She said being irritatedly.

She also didn't understand why she was behaving like this out of the blue .

" What happened, are you ok?" He asked, concerned about her sudden change of behavior.

" Just go away . Don't come in front of me or else I'll break your face." She yelled at him not loudly because she was outside her office and didn't want to grap anyone's attention.

" Why? " he asked .

" What why huh..?  . Where were you in the morning?" She asked back, being angry.

" I woke up late, that's why I wasn't able to come ." He explained to her the reason for his absence.

The part of him was happy that she was waiting for him and the other part was concerned about her sudden change in behavior.

She didn't said any but walked ahead  making him more confused but when he

Saw stain on her skirt, his all confusion vanished knowing the reason.

He opened his  coat  while walking behind her and tied it on her waist . She stopped walking when his hand grabbed her waist .

He tied the coat properly around her waist and then asked her "you have stain on your skirt  " making her confused but then something clicked in her mind .

She hurriedly pulled her phone out of her purse and checked the calendar and cursed herself for not reminding the important date.

Yes, you all are correct she got her periods.

She wanted to vanish from the world right now then face him.

When he noticed that she wasn't reacting he turned her around to see that her eyes were glued on the ground . He held her chin and moved her face up but she closed her eyes , not wanting to make eye contact.

" Open your eyes, sugar ." He asked in a soft tone. But still she didn't open her eyes. He cupped her cheeks and asked again .

" Baby . Please ". He again said trying to use as soft a tone he can use. This time she opened her eyes and looked at him .
