The officers stepped in to shield Nop from Mon's fury just as she raised her fist, ready to strike. Sam quickly intervened, pulling Mon away and guiding her outside to diffuse the tension.

"I understand your anger," Sam said gently but firmly. "But you need to stay composed. He'll try to provoke you at every opportunity. Right now, all we can do is wait for the right moment."

Mon's frustration boiled over as she spoke, her voice tinged with pain. "Even if he's caught, he'll twist the truth to protect his pride. I never imagined he'd betray me like this. I treated him like a brother, Sam. I cherished him, trusted him-but none of that justifies what he did to me."

"I know," Sam said softly. "Come on, let's go somewhere else. Are you hungry?" she asked, steering the conversation away from the tension.

"Yeah, let's go... maybe McDonald's?" Mon suggested, a small smile breaking through her frustration.

Sam smiled back, lifting Mon's hand to her lips for a gentle kiss. "McDonald's it is," she agreed as they walked toward the door.

From across the room, Nop watched them silently, his jealousy simmering beneath the surface as the officers continued their interrogation.

Sam watched Mon take a bite of her burger, a warm feeling spreading through her as she observed her fiancée's contentment.

"Why are you staring at me like that?" Mon asked, raising an eyebrow.

Sam smiled and reached out to wipe a smudge of ketchup from the corner of Mon's lips, then casually licked it off her finger. "Oh, nothing," she said with a chuckle. "It's just... this feels surreal. You're so different from the Mon who once couldn't stand the thought of me being your fiancée."

Mon rolled her eyes, though her smile betrayed her amusement. "People change, Love," she replied. She leaned forward to wipe a bit of ketchup from Sam's lips in return. "And thank you for waiting for me to be ready."

Sam's gaze softened, her heart full as she dipped a fry in ketchup and offered it to Mon. "I'd wait a lifetime for you."

Mon's cheeks flushed a deep red at Sam's playful remark. "Stop it, or I'll kiss you right here!" she warned, her voice flustered.

Sam smirked, leaning closer with a teasing glint in her eyes. "Oh, love, we're just getting started," she quipped. "But don't worry, I'll give you exactly what you want later... when we get to the car."

"Sam! Oh my gosh!" Mon squeaked, burying her face in her hands. She knew exactly what Sam was doing, and it was working.

After finishing their meal, the couple stepped outside and got into the car. Mon fumbled with her seatbelt, her frustration evident.

"Here, let me help," Sam offered, leaning over to assist her.

Their faces were inches apart as Sam clicked the seatbelt into place. Their eyes met, the air between them growing charged. Without a word, they closed the distance, their lips meeting in a passionate kiss that quickly deepened.

Sam's eyes darkened with desire as she whispered, "I need you now." She motioned for Mon to move to the backseat. Without hesitation, Mon climbed over and lay back, her heart racing.

Sam followed, leaning over her with a smoldering gaze before capturing her lips in a deep, fervent kiss. Mon's soft moans filled the space as Sam's lips trailed down to her neck, sucking gently and leaving a tingling warmth in their wake. Her hands slipped beneath Mon's shirt, caressing her with tender yet electrifying touches, drawing them even closer in the intimate moment.

A sudden, loud knock on the window shattered the moment, pulling them both back to reality. Sam quickly buttoned her shirt, and Mon smoothed her hair with trembling hands. Rolling down the window, Mon offered the security guard an apologetic smile and murmured an embarrassed apology.

As they drove out of the parking lot, Mon glanced out of the window, her lips curving into a soft smile as she replayed the moment in her mind, a mix of exhilaration and longing lingering in her chest. They had almost crossed that line-and it left her breathless.

Half an hour later, they pulled up to the house. Sam stepped out and walked around to open the door for Mon, offering her a hand to help her out. As a quiet "thank you," Mon leaned in and placed a quick kiss on Sam's lips, but Sam wasn't ready to let it end there. She deepened the kiss, her hand slipping to the small of Mon's back to pull her closer.

Mon pulled away with a soft laugh, her cheeks flushed. "Can we at least get inside first?" she teased sweetly.

Sam smirked, her eyes glinting with mischief as she licked her lips. "Lead the way," she said, giving Mon a playful pat on the butt as they walked to the door together.

"Can we head to bed right away?" Sam murmured, her voice low and teasing as her fingers lightly brushed against Mon's arm. With a playful smirk, Mon turned and started up the stairs, swaying her hips just enough to entice Sam.

Unable to resist, Sam quickly followed. The moment she caught up, she pinned Mon against the wall, her lips capturing Mon's in a searing kiss. Their breaths grew heavy, soft moans escaping between kisses as the tension between them reached its peak. Hands roamed, buttons were undone, and clothes slipped to the floor, the world around them fading away.
