- "AHHH Y/N" he runs towards you
- "i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry"
- you wince and look up at him
- "is it bad?" you ask
- "oh.. no it's not bad at all" he lies
- "you look fine"
- "yo y/n what the fuck happened to your face?" tanaka walks into the gym
- "yeah man you look like carrie during the prom scene" nishinoya said walking beside tanaka
- "volleyball. face. hit." hinata freaks out
- "OH SHIT THATS REAL BLOOD?" the other two boys run towards you
- "we should probably get you to the nurse" nishinoya says
- "yeah let's go" tanaka helps you stand up
- "i can bring her" hinata volunteers
- "you sure?" the two boys ask
- "yeah i got it" hinata puts an arm over your shoulder
- you two were now about halfway to the nurses office
- "how much does it hurt?" he asks
- "not too bad" you reply
- "one through ten what's the pain scale?"
- "like a seven" you answer him
- "A SEVEN?" he screams
- "no no no no i'm so sorry y/n i didn't mean for the ball to hit you"
- "please forgive me it was an accident and i would never purposely hurt you" hinata rambles

- he continues to apologize the entire time the nurse was helping you
- and when she was done helping you
- and when you two were back in the gym

- he feels a mix of embarrassment and concern
- his eyes go super wide and his face turns pale
- "Y/N" he shouts

- "are you okay!?" he more demanded than questioned
- he doesn't wait for your answer and just immediately starts inspecting you for injuries
- he feels so stupid

- but he doesn't.
- he continues to beat himself up over this small incident for awhile

- he's more annoyed with himself than anything
- the ball hit you square in the face
- his eyes go wide but only for a second
- he quickly reverts his face to the floor to hide his flushed cheeks
- yamaguchi actually got to you before tsuki did
- "great. fantastic." tsuki mutters to himself as he walks over to you
- he wasn't used to caring about someone else
- he really didn't know how to react
- "uh are you okay?" he asks
- he doesn't look you in the eye
- his tone is defensive and you can tell he's trying to hide how guilty he truly feels

- you give him a "are you serious" look
- he sighs
- "okay i'm sorry" he says
- "you're what?" you ask him, wanting to hear it again

- you laugh and he helps you stand up
- the guilt of hitting you would linger with him for the rest of practice
- but he would never let you know that

yamaguchi ♥
- he's absolutely mortified
- so many emotions going through his head
- "Y/N! oh my god i'm so sorry"
- he rushes over to you in a panic
- he literally almost trips over his own feet because he's moving so fast to get to you
- "are you okay? did it hurt? oh no i didn't mean to"
- he asks you if you're okay a million times over and over
- you tried to wave it off with a "no big deal sweetheart"
- but he doesn't accept that
- "no it IS a big deal"
- he feels so guilty
- it looks like he's about to go full on panic mode
- at this point you're basically reassuring him and making sure he's okay rather than the other way around
- this makes him feel worse
- "i'm supposed to be checking on you y/n"
- he eventually believes you when you say it's ok

tanaka ♥
- he doesn't know whether to try to make you laugh or to just shut up and console you
- his cool and composed act disappears when he realizes you were actually hurt
- "please, please tell me you're ok"
- "you're too pretty for this"
- "what if i messed up your face!?! let me see!"
- "not that anything could ruin your perfect face"
- he laughs a little to himself at the comment he made
- but instantly gets serious again
- he's so over the top with all his questions and remarks
- he kisses all over your face saying "i'm sorry" with each one

nishinoya ♥
- he bolts right over to you
- "YOUR BEAUTIFUL FACE WHAT HAVE I DONE"
- he was honestly in disbelief
- "ARE YOU OKAY?" he asks
- you reply but he doesn't even hear you
- he's too busy pacing back and forth
- "i'm the worst! i'm the WORST" he yells
- "noya im fine" you laugh
- he snaps out of his little daze and crouches down to you again
- "i'll do anything to make it up to you"
- "i'll buy you all the food you want! you can boss me around for a whole day y/n, anything!"
- "please forgive me"
- it honestly don't even hurt that bad but that last option he gave sounded pretty fun
- "ok deal" you smiled

sugawara ♥
- his stomach dropped
- but he tried his best not to freak out
- "y/n i am so incredibly sorry, can i see?"
- he tilts your face up to look at him
- he sighs when he sees your face, a big goose head present on your forehead
- "let's go to the nurses office please" he extends his arm out to you
- he walks you to the nurses to make sure you're alright
- he feels so bad
- he can't stand the thought of hurting you, even though it was an accident
- he always make sure to look where you're standing before serving now

- he's disappointed in himself
- he feels like it's his responsibility to keep you safe
- and now he just failed
- his stomach dropped at the sound of the ball hitting you in the face with a thwack
- "i'm so sorry are you alright?"
- he hovers his hands over you, not knowing if he should touch you or not
- you tried to brush it off
- but he was not having any of that
- "no, no! i could have seriously hurt you"
- his face was flushed with embarrassment and he ran his hands through his hair trying to think
- "i'm supposed to be leading everyone and here i am hitting people— YOU of all people, in the face with the ball"
- this man was so stressed
- you eventually reassured him that it was okay
- he made it up to you by buying you lunch later

asahi ♥
- he feels so guilty and embarrassed
- he rushes over to you but doesn't want to get too close in case he may hurt you again
- but the second you reached out for him he was there lifting you up
- "oh y/n i'm so sorry"
- he doesn't believe you when you say you're okay
- he beats himself up over this for awhile
- he's even more gentle with you after this

- her heart sank
- she immediately drops her clip board and rushes over to you
- her usual calm demeanor was gone
- it was replaced by a sense of urgency
- "oh no.. y/n, are you okay?" her voice was laced with guilt
- she sat next to you on the ground and moved little pieces of hair from your face
- she places a gentle kiss on the growing red spot on your cheek
- "i'm so sorry" she frowned
- she looked away from you visibly distressed
- she wanted to believe you when you told her you're okay but she just couldn't
- you told her it was okay a million times before she came to grips that it was an accident

- he tries to use his awkward humor to cover up his concern
- he's honestly really embarrassed
- "shit, are you okay? i didn't mean to— are you hurt?"
- he grabs your face with his hands and carefully examines you
- "i'm so sorry i wasn't looking and— fuck, i just hit you with a ball!"
- you laugh at him and that makes him ease up
- he sees that you're okay and lets out a sigh of relief
- he kisses you on the giant red spot growing across your forehead
- "dinner on me tonight. no volleyballs allowed" he says

- she's horrified
- she runs over to you and just squeezes you into a tight hug
- "y/n i am so so sorry please don't be mad at me"
- she lets go of you to examine your expression
- "i'm not mad at you yachi, it was an accident"
- "but still!!! i hit you in the face y/n! with a ball" she exclaims
- you laugh at how concerned she is
- she wants you to go to the nurses office to get checked out
- "please y/n! you could have a concussion" she whines
- "i'm fine, really. you don't hit very hard" you whisper the last part to her
- "i'm glad you're okay y/n" she smiles at you
