-Jahaan-
I have been looking for Dhivti since the past ten minutes. It is as if she just disappeared after dinner.
Not to forget how she made my heart pound with that little stunt of hers at dinner. The way she came closer to whisper in my ears, I wanted to pull her even closer and hide her in my arms. That little smirk of hers...Dhivti Verma has no idea what she does to me.
Where is she?
I hope she didn't go anywhere out without letting anyone know because I swear I will lose my shit thinking she is in danger.A clearing of throat distracts me from my thoughts. I look behind to see Sheetal aunty standing there.
"Aunty? All okay? You need something?" I ask.
"No, I don't need anything but it seems like you need someone," she wiggles her eyebrows in a teasing manner.
Shit. Was I that obvious?
"Uh...n-no aunty, I was just attending a call," I stutter, feeling nervous."Oh, where is the phone?"
Fuck. I try to look for the phone in my pockets when I remember that I left it in my room. I close my eyes in embarrassment."So?" she asks.
I rub my nape while looking at her.
"Dhivti. I am looking for Dhivti, aunty," I give her a sheepish smile and she laughs at my embarrassed state."Terrace."
"Huh?"
"She is in the terrace."
"Oh. Thank you aunty," I say and hastily move towards the staircase to the terrace but aunty's voice stops me.
I turn towards her and see her walking towards me."Yes, aunty?"
"She will never admit or show it but secretly, she is very sensitive. She is a mess in the head. Handle her with care and patience," she says, almost pleading.
I hug her."Aunty, Dhivti Verma...she means a lot to me and I will die protecting her, even if it is from herself," I move back and look at her, "I promise," I vow to her.
She pats my head and leaves for her room while I move towards the terrace.
I see her sitting on the swing while looking at the sky. I slowly walk from behind and bend towards her ear.
"Hi, baby," I whisper which startles her.She looks behind at me and I wiggle my eyebrows, teasing her.
God, I love teasing her by calling her baby. I don't think I will ever stop.
She glares at me and looks back at the front. I smile.I move to the front and sit besides her on the swing. I look up at the sky which is captivating Dhivti's attention.
Wow. The moon is appealing today. It's a full moon. I look towards Dhivti. There is a certain glow on her face. The moon's shine on her face is making her look ethereal. In an instant, the magnificence of the moon faded in front of Dhivti Verma.
She is the moon that I'd stare at for the rest of my life. The moon that brings light in my life without having the slightest idea about it.
She is my moon.
