Nowhere to Run

Prologue

It was cold at the factory that night. Everyone was working as hard as they could on the ability enhancer. It allowed the user to run faster, act smarter, react quicker, and jump higher. It was everything that an exercise enthusiast would want. There was a big pot of it constantly mixing suspended by massive chains hanging from the ceiling. There was scaffolding next to it so we could add the right amount of substance to it without falling in ourselves. John kept telling people it was a bad idea to leave ingredients up there. No one would listen though. Until one day, a new worker was knocked unconscious by a pipe and hit the scaffolding. Every single one of the ingedients, including the glass, fell in the pot. The liquid started bubbling fiercely. Suddenly, this blue mist just exploded over the top and started filling the facility. And that's when everything went wrong.
