Doctor's P.O.V.
***
I knew I had to get over to the building fast and find a way in before Eleanor got caught. I could hear through the ear piece that they hadn't found her yet but had almost found her.
I knew I had to be quiet aswell as I racked up a plan to get rid of these things as quietly and less explosion-y as possible.
I walked in a door quietly and stayed in the shadows, hiding behind crates.
"I see you Doctor." She said in a hushed tone.
"Where are you?" I said quietly.
"I'm in the locker at the nearest corner." I looked towards the locker, seeing a Cyberman right beside it.
"Okay. Uhm. There's a Cyberman right beside you. I can't reach you until I get to the control panel."
"Well how are you supposed to reach the control panel?" I huffed.
"I don't know!" I said in a hushed tone.
"Okay okay okay. Don't get your bowtie all crooked." I rolled my eyes and straightened my bowtie.
"Bowties are cool."
"Yeah yeah. And Daleks are nice and caring things. Get it right Doctor." I gasped.
"Rude! And Daleks are nothing to joke about." I could practically feel her roll her eyes.
"You're right." I could imagine her face twisted with sass as she said this. I shook my head and looked around, seeing most of the Cybermen leave.
"That's it. Just leave."
"Doctor stop talking to yourself. It's weird."
"Come on. We all know I'm weird. Don't start." I watched as the Cyberman near her walked away and I made my way over. "There's only 3 left in here." I said as I opened the locker door.
She smiled and took my hand as she stepped out of locker. I chuckled and kissed the back of her hand, causing her to blush lightly.
I like when she blushes. It reminds me that she's still with me and that's what I like.
I smiled as I watched her slip her gloves on, pressing a button and teleporting to two Cybermen that were right beside each other. She pressed her hands against their heads, sending an electrical pulse through out their bodies, sending them to the ground.
The other Cyberman turned around and lifted his arm.
"Press the big red button!" She didn't think twice and slammed her hand down on the button. I huffed as the Cyberman stopped and put his arm down.
"Commands." It said simply. I raised an eyebrow.
"What?" Eleanor looked at me with an eyebrow raised and she walked over to me.
"What did it just say?"
"Commands. I need my commands." I was so confused. I can actually give Cybermen commands?
"Okay. Uhm. Leave the planet?"
"That is a question not a command." I rolled my eyes and huffed. Great. A smart elic Cyberman. Just what I need.
"Leave the planet. Take the others with you."
"Then what? Where shall we go?" I huffed and began thinking.
"How about you go really far away." The Cyberman moved his head a little bit to the left, making a sort of mechanical movement sound. I glared at it. "Then set off the self destruct sequence." The Cyberman suddenly turned and marched out the door.
El and I walked out the door behind the Cyberman to be met with an entire army. They all set off into the sky together and I sighed.
"Well. That was easy." I said, looking into the sky as I watched them fly off.
"Yeah. The first time the big red button actually does something that doesn't end in death and destruction." I laughed and grabbed the side of her head, pulling her closer and kissing her forehead.
She looked up at me with a smile and I wrapped my arm around her waist with a smile as we began walking back to the Tardis.
We made it back and Eleanor huffed, laying down on the panel floor next to the console.
"Oh thank god." I laughed and sent the the Tardis off to space without typing in any coordinates. I figured we could use a break.
Eleanor stood up and pulled down the lever that extended the oxygen field then ran to the doors, opening them.
She smiled and sat down, letting her feet hang off the edge as she looked around at the stars. I chuckled and pulled the lever down, stopping Tardis and just let it drift as I walked over to her.
I sat beside her, letting my feet dangle over the edge as I held her hand. I felt my thumb run over her wedding band and the engagement ring I had gotten her, making me smile.
If I had ever lost her I don't know what I'd do. It's hard to picture a life without her now that I've met her. It's clear to me now that I must keep her safe and never let her go.
I didn't notice myself looking at the rings until she sighed, bringing me to my senses.
"What's wrong, Doctor?" She said, cautiously. I looked up from her ring and into her beautiful blue eyes, a smile making its way to my face.
"There's nothing wrong. Just admiring." She giggled, her face turning a light pink as she looked down at her feet as they dangled from the edge.
I intertwined our fingers and sat our hands down on my lap as I ran my fingers over the rings, looking at them with a small smile on my face.
I never thought, in a million years, I would truly love someone as much as this. I'm not going to lie, I do love River. I really do. But there are times where I look at Eleanor and forget everything that River and I ever had then replacing them with memories El and I have shared.
My favorite memory is when we first met. The way her black jumpsuit hugged her tightly and her long ginger hair laying perfectly on her back. I also remember how long it took her to realize I was there.
I knew from the start that she was something special. Something great. Something absolutely fantastic. Something irreplaceable. Something I could never live without.
Now I know what your thinking. Your thinking, "You've lived without her for so long. I think you can handle being without her."
Well. The truth is. I don't think I could. She's made such an impact on my life that if she were to get hurt or, even worse, be killed on my behalf. I would never forgive myself.
I've had many people die because of me but she would be a different story. She would be something I could never recover from. My life would be completely shattered. I'd probably end up locking myself away and never talking to anyone ever again.
I'd become so bitter and cold. She is the warmth and sweetness I need in my life. The one I've waited for. The one that I would die for.
I smiled and broke free from my thoughts as I brought her hand up to my lips, kissing her hand softly.
"I love you.." I said quietly as I looked out into the beautiful familiarity of the galaxy around me.
"I love you too, Doctor." She squeezed my hand lightly, causing me to smile.

A/N:
Now you know how much the Doctor really loves Eleanor. I think it is so cute. I am just loving this story. I'm thinking about making a chapter with 10 but Idunno if I should.
I've been watching episodes with 10 and realizing how much I loved him. I think I may do that.
