The wind swirled around us as we were all transported to this boat for this little "adventure," that I swear is probably a death trap more than anything. Though...what did I truly expect? This is "The Amazing Digital Circus" we're talking about here. Every adventure makes me wanna die to some sort of capacity.
"So..." Pomni started. "Where do we begin?"
Ragatha shrugged. "I don't know. Let's move the boat around a bit and then figure out what to do then."
"I call driving the boat!" Jax called out, a smug expression was on his face.
"I don't trust you with that task," Zooble mentioned. "How about somebody more trustworthy and more...put-together? Like Ragatha or Y/N?"
A nervous laugh escaped my lips as I shook my head. "I would prefer to not drive the boat, thank you. Besides, I don't even know how."
"It's probably easy enough. Caine wouldn't make it that hard," Ragatha said as she went over to the steering wheel that was attached to this wacky-looking deck boat. She gripped onto the wheel and started driving the boat forward with ease--something I wished I could've done without feeling panicky.
Jax's sly face turned towards me. "Are you afraid of the water?" Even with his expression, I could tell there was a hint of genuine curiosity in his tone. Though, knowing it would seem pathetic, I shook my head.
"No, of course not! That would be silly," I responded, trying to ignore how fast my heart was racing. "I just...feel like Ragatha would be better suited to drive this boat. That's all."
"Mhm. Sure, doll-face. Sure," He spoke like he didn't believe me while rolling his eyes.
Ragatha started humming as she was steering the boat, though I was worried that Jax would either steal the wheel from her, or something bad, very bad, was going to happen. But...maybe it was just paranoia. And my fear with the ocean--even if it WAS digital. It still made my heart beat out of control.
"W-When should we start heading in the water with our scuba gear?" Gangle questioned. She was looking down at the digital water with intrigue, though she is made out of ribbon. How would she swim in the water without sinking? Unless all of our avatars have a built in swimming feature or are the same weight, so the ribbon doesn't matter. I'm getting nervous just thinking about the possibility of drowning, though...
"I'll just...drive the boat around, and if anybody has an idea of where we should start, just let me know," Ragatha told us as she continued to drive the boat.
"Make it somewhere dangerous," Jax suggested. "It would make things more fun."
Weren't you the one who got injured on the last adventure...? I will never understand this rabbit, will I?
"Um...no thanks," I muttered, trying my best to avoid looking at the water. "I'd prefer something with no danger."
"Lame," He huffed before creeping up on Gangle while she was watching the water. Once he was right next to her, a grin was on his face as he jumped out at her, making Gangle scream, and her happy-mask broke.
"My mask just broke..." She huffed, her tear-stained mask was present on her face.
Jax just shrugged, a smile was on his face, like usual. "That's what happens when you're not carefully, crybaby."
"Jax...that was mean," I growled, momentarily forgetting about the water.
"Very mean," Pomni muttered. She was next to me, her arms were crossed as she analyzed what Jax just did to Gangle.
