Misunderstanding :- Chapter Eight

Despite Mohit's best efforts, he could not get anything and hence he gives up and is about to leave the case so that he can leave this job and go to USA for further studies... then he gets a call from Nishka.

Mohit:- Oh Nishu how are you? And when did you come to Hyderabad?

Nishka:- I am absolutely fine.. it has been two-three days since I came here, tell me how are you?

Mohit:-  It's been two-three days since you came and you didn't even tell me

Nishka:- Hey I started working as soon as I came. I was so busy with work that I didn't even get time to call you. So sorry Moh

Mohit:- It's okay, now tell me where are you and where are you working?.

Nishka tells him her address and the next day Mohit goes there to meet her. In the lab, Anubhav and Nishkha get busy with research. Initially, there is some bickering during the experiment, but when Nishkha sees Anubhav working wholeheartedly, she stops quarreling with him and Anubhav, seeing Nishkha's hard work and dedication, stops taunting her. And, even though they are not friends, they start talking to each other properly. Then Mohit goes there and asks Anubhav about Nishka's lab room....

Mohit:- Excuse me (calling Anubhav) where is that Nishhu's lab room?

AV:- who is nishu? (staring)

Mohit:-  oh Sorry 😐 I mean Dr. Nishkarsha Reddy..  where is she?

AV:- Nishu (thinking in mind) who are you (angrily)

Mohit:- I Am Mohit Naidu CBI Officer By the way, where is Nishhu's lab?

AV:- Come, Let me show you..

In Nishka's lab room

Mohit:- Hello Beautiful! Surprise 🫢

Nishka:- (Turning back) (Happily) How are you? (Hugging) How did you come here?

Mohit:- To surprise you... I was getting bored in the office; thought I'd pass the time here (in a joking manner) just kidding, I'm going to Gallatin tomorrow so I thought I'd meet you there..

Nishka:- wow! Why didn't you tell me that you are going to Gallatin? I would have come too... both of us would have enjoyed a lot (getting excited)

Mohit:- Right now I am going for studies. Next time when I have a holiday, I will definitely tell you - then you come there, we will enjoy a lot there; okay.. and then we will also think about marriage...

Nishka:- you started again (fed up)

Anubhav starts staring at Mohit angrily.. as if he will kill Mohit now..

Mohit:- Sorry! Darling, won't you introduce me to your team?

Nishka:- This is Dr. Sethi, this is Dr. Misty Rai and this is AV.. I mean  Dr. Anubhav Pinisetty.. Nad Guy's He is My Friend Mohit Naidu..

Mohit:- Hello Everyone 👋 So darling, should I go now?

Nishka:- Hey, you just came..look at my research..it is not complete, but I can explain it to you..

Mohit:- Madam, I am a CBI officer, not a researcher; I will not understand anything in this...

Nishka:- So become one.. I will add you in my team.. (jokingly)

Mohit:- If have such a beautiful team leader, then forget about becoming a team member, I can even become your assistant (flirting)

Nishka:- Oh really (by smiling) are you flirting with me

AV:- Oh hello! If it happened to both of you then (getting angry in jealousy) we should concentrate on the experiment… that is it; your flirting (angrily) is interfering… (stopping) in the experiment… (gnashing teeth)

Mohit:- Sorry (looking at Anubhav) darling I am leaving.. we will meet in the evening for coffee.. bye darling..

And while leaving, Mohit goes to hug Nishka; then Anubhav comes in between and hug him...

AV:- Bye Mohit Miss You (smiling angrily)

Seeing this, Nishka gives a slight smile and hits her forehead with her hand.. Mohit is sleeping in his room at night when suddenly he hears someone's footsteps.. He gets up to see who it is. But there is no one there, so he comes back and lies on the bed; and as soon as he goes to switch off the light, there is a big Gila monster-like animal in front of him.. Mohit starts shivering out of fear. And as soon as Mohit goes to scream, the animal closes his mouth with its tail. Mohit falls unconscious right there. In the morning, when he opens his eyes, he finds all his family members around him. Nishka is also with him. Mohit is very scared. His words are unclear due to fear. He trembles for a long time. Nishka consoles him. After some time, when Nishka asks him with confidence, he tells her everything. At first, Nishka doesn't believe him, but thinking about Pendli's death, she believes him.

Niska:- Believe me, you were going to USA, right? Then go there and stay for a few days.. that creature will not come there..

Mohit:- No (controlling himself) Nishka that creature came to my house; he even put his tail on my face... but

Nishka:- but What?

Mohit:- But he did not do anything to me... If he wanted, he could have bitten me or even made me a morsel and eaten me, but he did not do that...

Nishka:- I didn't get it...

Mohit:- Meaning; he wanted to tell me something or he needed some help from me (thinking)

Nishka:- what? How can you say that? (While Confused)

Mohit:- He may have looked like a Gila monster; but half of his body was human-like

Nishka:- What? (Shocked) Okka Nimisham (after much thought) Maybe I know who it could be.. I am leaving.. bye take care..

And Nishka leaves from there in a hurry and Mohit also follows her... and comes to the lab

Nishka:-(pushing Anubhav angrily) What is your problem man?

AV:- What Happened? (be unaware)

Nishka:- You are settled in your life, let me move on too... why are you interfering in my life? (angrily)

AV:- what's Wrong with you Dr. Reddy? (gnashing teeth)

Nishka:- Don't try to act ignorant even after knowing (by controlling anger) Last night it was you who went to Moh's house...tell me-

Av:- Who? Me (pretending to be unaware)

Nishka:- Look! Anubhav, don't make me angry... I know, it was you who fought with me and broke up with me for this project 2 years ago... (angrily) I know very well that this experiment is yours... (crying peacefully) Why have you come back in my life? I have forgotten you so much that I can't even hate you... (wiping tears) Mohit is innocent...(Nishka starts to leave from there but suddenly stops and turns back) Wait a minute, are you behind the death of Doctor pendley and Babay's assistant; why did you kill them? Answer me Anubhav... wait, you are not going to believe me like this, I will tell the whole truth to Mohit right now...

Mishty:- Okka Nimisham; Find out the truth before calling the police... (then Anubhav interrupts her) No AV, let them also know what you have lost because of their family member? Doctor Nishkarsha, your baba has ruined AV's life...
