Chapter Nineteen: Paint the Town Blue

It's been six months since the last run in with Cait and Violet in the sewers, since then everything has been going like one would expect. Enforcers flooded the Under City looking for Y/n, Jinx, and any rogue faction that might be running against Caitlyn. The Under City, seeing their actions as a rebellion, also started fighting back. Enforcers put up check points with gates, stopping even the youngest of Zaunites before checking them but this didn't stop them. Y/n and Jinx became a pair of heroic, "robin hood" type figures to their people whether they wanted to or not. Despite being underground since the sewers, keeping a low profile, they were still causing trouble for Cait and the Enforcers. 

Zaunites started rioting, painting their hair blue or white, getting a similar Crescent Moon tattoo on their wrist or ankles to pay homage to Y/n and Jinx. Y/n's tattoo being of the full moon on his back which symbolizes his freedom with the chains having been burned off. They'd throw paint at the Enforcers, toss snappers at their feet, use large signs, hold up the "WANTED" signs for Y/n and Jinx, etc. all to show defiance. Enforcers came in with their large shields and numbers but a hate as deep as the Zaunite's for Piltover won't be put out. They started to throw smoke bombs and molotov type cocktails, forcing Ambessa's group to come in. Even this didn't stop their riot. Nothing. Ever. Will. 

Until Justice is given to their people, they won't stop fighting back and giving Topsider's hell. As many Enforcers and enemy troops, like Ambessa's men, there might be... it's not a deterrent. No, not by a long shot. Enforcers chase after people who attacked them, shoving some to the ground roughly. People get arrested often, being thrown in the prison over petty things like vandalism. A thing that Cait apparently thinks will stop the shifting tides. Speaking of Caitlyn, she's still being guided by Ambessa as she tries connecting dots on a large map filled with pictures of people she thinks could lead her to them. 

At the same time, Isha can be seen under a hood as she looks at a mural painted on a large wall of Y/n and Jinx. Jinx is holding up a blue flag and Y/n is behind her with his hands out, holding a broken chain in one hand and an open blue flame in the other. People are rioting behind them, a lot of them. Isha finishes coloring it with spray paint before running off to go run off home, back to her family.

Up in Caitlyn's room, in Piltover, the Kiramman's awake by herself as she sits on the side of the bed. It is currently filled by another partner as she looks worried about something, continually stressing over what to do with Zaun. The people have been growing more rowdy by the day and nothing seems to put them down. Moonlight shines through the window as she sits in her night gown. Her new fuck buddy speaks after waking up. 

Maddie: Up again? 

Cait sighs and she continues speaking. 

Maddie: The city's not going anywhere. 

Caitlyn: I have an audience with the Mason's Guild first thing in the morning. 

Her fuck buddy, not true love, rubs her hand up Cait's back as the woman stays still. She doesn't care to pull away or lean in but feels indifferent to the contact. Maddie puts her head on Caitlyn's back and speaks quietly. 

Maddie: Let me guess. Complaints about the Noxians. 

Caitlyn: Hm. They doubled their fortification requests.
