Chapter 47: Attack on Usagi

Usagi POV 

'It's been three days since everyone's been preparing for the ambush on the Moon. Everyone is on surveillance rotation, with no idea when we'll be attacked. Yet, I'm stuck on Earth because they don't want me to get hurt!' 

To explain the current situation, the idea that they would attack the Moon is because I've been staying away from the ladies. I was always on the Moon unless we were attacked. So Nehelenia and her Dead Moon Circus are assuming I'll be on the Moon. So to contradict that, I'm on Earth being protected by the Shintennou. Mamoru and everyone else in on rotation so that Nehelenia won't suspect that I've relocated. 

"This isn't fair!" I yell to Kevin. 

He puts his hands up, "Please don't take your anger out on me." 

I sigh in defeat, "You're right, it's not fair to you. You haven't done anything wrong." 

I walk inside crown arcade where Motoki is waiting for me, "About time!" 

Motoki has already been updated about the entire situation by Mamoru, and has been assigned to keep a 'watch' on me after school. 

'But even if I do escape in front of Motoki, he can't stop me anyways. So why him?' 

"You look cute! It's been a while since I've seen you like this." 

Motoki lifts me into his arms, "I'd say you're around 7 or 8 years old." 

"Correct~" 

He spins me around before placing me down on a stool, "I'm getting your favourite drink ready so be patient." 

I look around to see a lot of people lined up, "Are you sure I should be here? You seem busy." 

"Actually, I'm about to finish my shift! We've recently hired someone so I can take more days off." 

"This isn't because of me, is it?" 

"Of course not! I'm doing this so I can spend more time with my own girlfriend and study. I'm planning on studying business and expanding the place." 

He comes in closer, "I'll also expand it so you'll have a second base here. You'll need one other than Rei's shrine right?" 

I whisper back, "That would be amazing, but we're thinking of using Mamoru's place instead." 

"But then what about shingo? He won't be able to access it and he'll need to be updated to help cover you at home." 

"That's true...we could always give him a key?" 

"Alright, but I'm making one anyways. Mamoru's place is a bit tight and you seem to be getting more allies." 

"Thank you!" I give him a big hug. 

He laughs happily, "Now that that's settled, let's head over to your house. We need to update Shingo about the security going on." 

"Sounds good." 

TIME SKIP: Usagi's house 

"Shingo, open up!" I knock on his door. 

"Sis! You're still small. And why is Motoki-san here?" 

"Yeah, I'll be in this form for a little longer. Motoki's been updated about everything, and we need him here to talk about something even more serious." 

"Okay, come in." 

Motoki went to sit on the ground, shingo at his desk and I'm on his bed. We're sitting in a triangle facing each other.
