Favorite Song: "Material Girl" by Madonna (Reflects her obsession with wealth and status).

Backstory: Melody came from a wealthy family, but not quite at the level of the McDucks or Glomgolds. She was raised with a strong emphasis on appearances and social standing. Her marriage to Mirabel's father was initially a strategic alliance to elevate her status. However, the relationship deteriorated, revealing her cold and distant nature. The divorce was bitter, and she viewed Merida more as a burden than a daughter. She was willing to send Merida away to avoid the social stigma of a "broken family." After her kids disappeared, one after the other, Melody initially feigned concern, but secretly saw it as a way to wash her hands of the situation. When she learns Mrs. Beakley, a simple housekeeper took Matthew in, and Gyro adopted Merida, she sees an opportunity to regain social standing by trying to reclaim her son and daughter, and ruin the reputations of Mrs. Beakley, and Gyro.
Theme Song: "Queen of Mean" from Descendants 3 (Highlights her sense of entitlement and her willingness to manipulate others).

Quotes:
* "Appearances are everything. Never forget that."
* "Emotional displays are for the weak."
* "That... inventor stole my daughter. I will have her back. I MUST have her back!"
* "I always get what I want."
* "You wouldn't understand. Some people are simply better than others."
Extra
* Melody is a complex antagonist, driven by a desire for social status and control.
* She is not inherently evil, but her values are warped by her upbringing and her obsession with appearances.
* Her interactions with Gyro and Merida will highlight the contrast between their values and their definitions of "family."
* She is a master manipulator, and will use any means necessary to achieve her goals.
