We fell asleep cuddled up against each other. I woke up earlier than I should've. I decided to make both of them breakfast after brushing and washing my face. I got my phone and played my music. The song I'm not in love by 10cc playing.
I decided to make miniature pancakes with whipped cream and some cut up fruit on the side. It wasn't a lot but I wasn't sure what Capri would like so I went with something simple.
As soon as I finished preparing their plates, I heard little footsteps coming towards me. I turned around and saw Capri rubbing his eyes. I smiled. "Goodmorning" He smiled. I placed the plate on the table. "Goodmorning Capri. How did you sleep?"
He climbed onto the seat and looked at me " I sleptttt like a 9/10. Best sleep i've had in a while!" He happily said. I smiled and ruffled his hair. "That's good — that's good. Pray and then you can start eating." I told him.
He nodded and bowed his head, holding his hands together. I walked over to Juju, waking her up with kisses like I normally do. Juju smiled, pulling me closer. "Time to wake up baby." I placed a kiss on her nose and pulled away.
Juju scrunched up her face and sat up. She got up and limped to the kitchen. "Hey kiddo. All good?" Juju talked to Capri. He nodded his head, his cheeks full of the pancakes he stuffed in his mouth. "Hi Ju! I'm okay, is your leg okay?" He asked her.
Juju smiled and nodded her head. "Of course." She sat down and prayed then started to dig in. I got my plate and sat down. She looked up and patted her lap. I silently laughed, getting up and sitting on her lap.
Capri finished eating and I told him he could watch whatever he wanted to watch on television while we eat. Me and Juju finished eating and instead of me taking the plates to the sink, Juju did.
I raised a eyebrow at her before smiling. "You coming with me to child protective services?" I asked Juju. She turned around and nodded her head. She finished washing the dishes and I took a shower first then Juju and after her, Capri took one.
We put on normal stuff and Capri had to put on the same thing until we got him new clothes. We walked out of the house and to the car, everybody getting settled in. Juju connected her phone to the aux, Apparently by J cole playing as I drove.
After 20-30 minutes we arrived. I found a parking spot and parked, unbuckling my seatbelt. Juju unbuckled her seatbelt and opened the door. She got Capri out of the car, holding him on her hip and came over to my side, opening the door for me.
I smiled and got out with the help of her. I held her hand and we started walking, going into the building. A lady looked at us and motioned for us to come towards her. I nodded my head and walked over.
"Hello, how can I help you?" The lady asked, smiling at me. I smiled back and looked back at Capri. "Okay so I found this kid yesterday at a basketball tournament, alone and no parents in sight. I wanted to know if we can find any family relations and if not, would I be able to adopt him?" I said.
The lady looked back at Capri, surprised. "Oh wow, and here I was thinking the precious thing was already y'all's!" The lady joked. "Okay so i'm going to need a name for all three of y'all. We'll see if he has any family, if he doesn't and yall qualify to be a parent y'all can take the sweet thing home."
