Chapter 1: The Breaking Point
The Poddar and Goenka mansion buzzed with restless energy. For the first time in months, it seemed like peace might finally peek through the cracks. Manish Goenka smiled warmly, watching Abhira laughing with her cousin Ruhi.
Just as the family soaked in the rare harmony, Abhira's gaze shifted. She caught sight of Abhir and Charu sneaking glances and smiling at each other across the room. A pit grew in her stomach. Something was wrong.
Within seconds, Krish exploded. "You think you can fool everyone, Abhir?" he yelled, stepping forward. "You played with Kiara's emotions... and now Charu's too?"
The entire hall froze. Manish, taken aback, looked sharply at Abhir. "Say something, beta! Tell me it's a misunderstanding!" But Abhir stayed silent, his guilt painted loud across his face.
SLAP! The sound cracked across the hall as Manish's hand connected with Abhir's cheek.
"You have shamed the Sharma name!" Manish shouted, voice shaking. "Your Papa, Abhinav Sharma, lived for honesty. And you—" he pointed with trembling anger—"you spit on everything he stood for."
Kaveri Poddar, itching to stir more chaos, sneered, "This is the sanskaar of your Goenka upbringing!"
Manish snapped back, voice breaking, "Don't you dare blame my daughter's family when your Poddar family have secrets stacked sky high!

Sanjay Poddar stormed forward. "Enough! Don't drag Charu into this!" Manish roared, "Charu chose this mess herself!"
Kajal launched into Charu. "You destroyed Kiara's marriage for your own selfishness! How could you do this to your own sister?"
Manisha cried silently, whispering, "You were Kiara's shadow... always behind her. Now you stab her in the back?"
Meanwhile, Ruhi, who was 7 months pregnant as Abhira's surrogate, sat trembling in a corner, hand on her stomach, feeling the contractions begin.
