Best Friend's Brother/ pt. 1

Your best friend has a twin brother named Niall. You've had the biggest crush on him for the longest time! Whenever he came around you always got flustered, and blushed like crazy.

Your best friend would always tease you about liking him, but you always denied it. Otherwise all hell would break loose if she knew you had a crush on her brother.

"(Y/N)?" your best friend says, while frantically waving her hand in front of your face.

"Huh? What?" you ask, while breaking out of your daze.

"I said," she sighs a long exaggerated sigh, "do you want to go to the pool with me and Niall?"

Your eyes widen a fraction, before going back to normal.

"I-I... uh..." you trial off.

Even Though you've been friends with them since diapers, you always had trouble hanging out with the both of them.

Curse you Niall Horan! {A/N: no really! Curse you Niall Horan!!! what have you done with my life???!??!}

"What's the matter?" she asks, with a frown.

"I'm not feeling well.. I think I'll head home," you lie straight through your teeth.

She gives you a sympathetic smile. "Hope you feel better. See you later!"

"Right.. thanks! Bye!" you force a smile, before darting out of the room.

Phew. That was a close one.

"(Y/N)?" You hear a familiar voice. You look up to see Niall standing at the front door.

"Oh.. H-Hi N-Niall," you stammer. Moments later a blush creeps onto your cheeks.

"Are you alright?" He questions.

"O-Oh yeah. I-I'm fine. Just a little s-sick," you lie again.

"Oh," he frowns.

"Well, I-I should g-get going," you awkwardly say, before pushing past him.  

"Uh, bye?" he calls after you.

By now, you were already half way down the street.

Phew, also a close one.

"Mom! I'm home," you yell, once you get through the door.

No answer.

You roll your eyes, and stroll up to your room.

DING
