Note- Abby is now 10 years old. She has lived with the animals for long enough to understand their language.

The wolves ran like the wind, jumping over rocks and fallen trees like a child would jump over a puddle. However, this wasn't a hunt. It was a game of chase.

As the wolves tried to catch her, Abby began thinking if a strategy as she ran. She grabbed a branch off of a strong-scented pine tree and rubbed it on herself to hide her scent. She then climbed a tall tree with the speed of a squirrel and sat on a branch next to a flock of pigeons.

"Hello, Abby. Are you playing another game with the wolves?" asked one of the pigeons.

"Yes, they wanted to see if they could catch me. It's fun, and it's good excersize," Abby replied.

"Okay, good luck. We won't tell anyone where you are or where you go if you leave this tree," the pigeon said. All of the other pigeons said words of agreement.

Abby looked down. The wolves were spread out now. They didn't have a scent to follow. All they could do was look around the area to see if they could find her.
