Fantasy Land [ON HOLD]

Chapter 5

When nightfall came, Abby was ready. She had packed everything she needed, and was waiting in front of her house.

She knew of the animals that were against getting along with other species, and had been told they mostly came out at night. She wondered if the test was to survive the night. She knew the animals of the night were against her living in the forest.

They attacked her when she first arrived, giving her a huge scar going across her face, causing her to lose use of her left eye. The scar stretched from the left corner of her face down to right above the right corner of her lips. The wolves had saved her at the last minute, putting her in their debt. However, they hadn't brought her to the camp. They just stayed and guarded her throughout the night and helped build her a home the next day.

When the fireflies arrived, Abby was half asleep. She really wanted to gain the animal's trust though, so she stood up and followed them.
