The fireflies led her to a part of the forest she had never been to before, into a clearing where the mist was incredibly thick. There was a small patch of yellow flowers like none she had seen before, even when she lived with her mom and dad before the car crash happened.

The fireflies, which had previously flew in a group, now separated into littke specks of light and flew in many different directions into the dark woods.

Abby assumed this was the place the test was to happen. She sat down in the flowers. She didn't know how long she had to be there, but she hoped it wouldn't be that long.

She was so tired. "Why hadn't I taken a nap during the day?" she murmered. Her eyes were just so heavy, she wasn't sure how long she could stay awake. She was so utterly exausted, she could only wonder if she could defend herself. She layed down to conserve energy. She closed her eyes, planning to just rest for a minute, but the next thing she knew, she was dreaming. She had fallen asleep.

When the wolves came to check on her in the morning, she was nowhere to be found.

"It figures. She's a weak human. Of course she would fall asleep," said the pack leader.
