Episode 29

Aryamaan's POV

I heard her crying voice making me panic. I asked her "Neharika what happened? Why are you crying?" she said in her teary eyes "Come ho-home f-fa-fast. Rheaa, Rhea's wa-water broke. There is no one at home and not even any car is here." I was hearing her with Rhea's shout. I cut the call without wasting time saying "Danish Rhea's water broke, I'm leaving home and told Ryan to come to hospital directly."

He nodded understanding the urgency from my voice and I rushed outside and took a seat on driver sit. I didn't want any delay. Within 10 minutes I reached home, just think in what speed I ran this car. I rushed shouting "Neharika, Nehaaa" She came from Rhea's room saying "Lift her." I nodded running towards room, she was crying holding her stomach. I held her securely in my arms.

I hurriedly went in car and placed her on backseat. Maa and Papa were standing outside and Neharika took a seat beside her caressing her hairs. I again drove the car in all speed like before. She was shouting by every passing minute making me feel uneasy.

We reached at hospital and I directly took my car to emergency door. There was everything ready, I held and put her on that stretcher. Some doctors came and nurse started dragging her inside operation room. Her face was all sweaty and started turning white because of that immense pain.

Doctor took her inside saying "Don't worry the delivery will be normal." we both nodded and stood their hearing her shouts that's when Ryan came running and asked "Rhea? Where is she?" I looked at him saying "They just took her inside."

"What did doctor say?" he was asking everything in panic. I said "She is okay and the delivery will be normal." I sighed and was about to take a seat but her shouts increased making him go towards that operation room, he was trying to look inside when suddenly a nurse came asking "Who is her husband?"

"Me?" Ryan said. She said "Come inside, she needs you." saying that she went inside and I looked at him who was looking at that open door. He turned saying "Mom you go inside." He said to Neharika.

She looked at him saying "Ryan, more than me or anyone at our family she needs you. She needs her husband. She needs mental strength and physical as well. Hearing your voice will calm her and your baby." He said looking at her confusingly "I'm scared."

She yelled on him for the first time "She is more scared than you, you made her pregnant and when she needs you, you're scared? Ryan you wanted to take responsibility then what is this? Your wife, your child needs you. No one can say what she is facing now. She didn't even see your face whole day. GOOO" She said pushing him.

He held that door and sighed big nodding his head and she patted his back. He went inside closing the door. I looked at him and saw my wife who took a seat on nearby. She put her head on her hands, she was still crying for Rhea whose mother called her bitch, whose mother made her feel like second woman like her mother.

We were just hearing Rhea's shouting sound getting louder, same shouts happened 26 years ago but the difference between my son and me is, he loves his wife and me...

I looked at her, she was still same, looking down. I sat beside her and encircled my hand around her shoulder scooping her close to me. She didn't deny me I said "Stop crying, doctor said she is okay and Ryan also went inside." Hearing me she looked at me for a brief second and nodded her head looking down.

After few minutes Sujal, Ayush and Danish came. We waited for half an hour, her shouts stopped and we heard a loud sound of crying. Everyone smiled and Danish and Ayush congratulated us but Neharika there was no smile on her face, she was still worried.

She was just continuously looking at operation room. Then that room got opened and we saw a very happy and smiley Ryan with baby in his arms. We went towards him and saw the baby. Sujal asked him "It's a boy or a girl?" He smiled widely saying "Girl." I said with a smile "She is looking like you Ryan, when I held you for the first time you looked just the same."
