As Rick stepped out of the limo Kate took a deep breath.
She saw him give a charming smile, a smile she figured she'd see a lot of from now on.
He took her hand and helped her out of the car,
"Come on." He whispered reassuringly.
He smiled and closed the door.
Paparazzi everywhere snapped shots of this new star.
Kate felt a bit uncomfortable but Rick didn't mind one bit.
"Mr. Castle!"
"Richard!"
"Tell us about yourself!"
"Who's the girl!"
"Is She your girlfriend?!"
"How do you feel about be coming so succesful at only 19?!"
"When will your next book be out?!"
Rick answered a few questions and then followed the bodyguard inside.
After they were in Kate turned around.
"Did they call you Castle?"
"Oh ya, that was my surprise."
He took a book from the bookstand they were next to and held it up
'(In a Hail of Bullets) By Richard Castle'.
"I ugh, changed my name."
"Why?" She asked confused.
"Because it's more exciting, to be a writer. You need a strong last name.
And what's better than Castle!
you're not mad right?"
"No, just surprised, Kate Castle, has a ring to it."
She smiled.
"It does." He smiled and pecked her lips lightly.
