So, Ember's jewelry box is going to be discussed in this chapter. I wasn't sure if anyone is familiar with this kind so it is what's in her room.

I laugh as we walk up the hallway. As it turns out, Abigail is not as bad as I thought. I thought she was a pervert at first, but I was completely wrong. She is actually really funny. I kind of enjoyed spending time with her at the dance studio.

"I'll find you later," she says as we approach my room. I nod and stop walking.

"Bye," I say before twisting the door knob open. When I walk in, the room is empty. Figuring I won't need to be in my workout clothes anymore today, I ring the bell that alerts my maids down in their servant's quarters.

I have only seen my maids this morning when I got dressed for breakfast and got ready to go to the gym. In fact, it actually surprises me because one of them are always here unless I ask them not to be.

When they finally come through the door, they have a hanger with a white dress bag covering it, hiding whatever masterpiece they created from me. I stand up from my spot on a chair at the table and walk over to look at the dress. Maybra swats at my hand.

"No! You can't see it until Friday," she says. I sigh and nod. Friday is the first report that the selected are going to be on. Everyone is nervous about it. Even I am. Looking presentable on live television in front of the entire nation is a make or break for the royal family.

"Well, it must look very good then," I say. They both smile at me. I quickly look at my clothes and then back at them. "Anyways, I need to change out of this. After the gym I went to the dance studio with Abigail," I explain. Maybra nods, walks over to the wardrobe, and hangs up the dress.

"I hope you enjoyed your time, Lady Ember. Now, go on in the bathroom and strip down while Connor gets your bath ready," she says. I nod and walk into the bathroom where Connor had silently disappeared to. Within a few minutes, I am in the tub washing all the sweat off of me.

When I get out, I put on my usual white robe. They do my makeup, Maybra doing it slowly so Connor can take mental notes. Connor even helped apply some of my eye makeup, a big success for her.

Finally, they get done with my makeup and I walk out of the bathroom. Maybra pulls a pink, lacy dress with a tan belt around it out of the wardrobe and hands it to me to change into. I quickly slip into it and a pair of white heels and walk over to my jewelry box.

I open the door and quickly pick out a necklace and a bracelet. I look up at the rings. They are all big, fancy stones, but not my emerald one. I look over at Maybra and Connor. "My ring is gone," I tell them. Maybra walks over and looks in the jewelry box.

"Did you wear it to the gym?" she asks. I quickly shake my head. "Oh, well, I'm sure it is around here somewhere. It must have gotten misplaced," she says. She looks around in the little pockets of the jewelry box but doesn't see it.

"Do you think it fell out?" Connor asks, walking over to us. I shrug and look around my feet.

"It's always a possibility," I reply. We all three get on the floor to look around on the floor surrounding the jewelry box. Maybra looks at me and shakes her head.

"I know you're worried, Lady Ember, but a lady should not be seen crawling around on the floor. Why don't you look in your wardrobe," she says. I sigh and nod. I walk over to the wardrobe. I look in the floor of it and in all of my shows. I find nothing.

"Nothing," Connor announces at the same time I am about to announce that I didn't find anything.

"I didn't find anything either," I say. I walk into the bathroom, thinking maybe I took it off in there. I peak in the drawers, under the sink, and on the edge of the bathtub. Nothing.

I walk out, shaking my head. Connor and Maybra are both looking around on furniture it would be normal for it to be on. "Are you sure you put it in the jewelry box, Lady Ember? We might be getting worried for nothing," Connor says. I nod.

"I know I put it there. It is the least likely place for it to get stolen," I say. I stand in the middle of the room, looking around at all the places it could possibly be. The least likely place for it to get stolen repeats itself in my head. "Wait!" I tell them. They both look up at me like I am crazy.

"What is it, Lady Ember?" Connor asks as she stands up from the ground. Maybra stands up as well.

"What if someone stole it?" I ask. Maybra's eyebrows scrunch together as she stares at me. She crosses her arms.

"Who would have stole it?" she asks. I walk over to my bed and sit on the edge. Who would be mad enough to steal a ring from me? Anyone who would think about stealing a ring would never take that one. It looks old. The only worth is the sentimental value.

"Someone who knows how much it is worth to me," I answer. Connor walks over and sits next to me on the bed. I stare at the ground as I think of who knows the story behind the ring. I have only told Giselle that day in the women's room.

Then I remember, someone was listening in. "I know exactly who it was," I say. I stand up and slide my heels back on. I walk over to the door, my veins pulsing anger through me instead of blood.

"Who was it?" Connor asks, standing up to follow me. I don't answer her and open the door. I slam it shut behind me as I march down the hallway. I stop at a room a few doors down. I pound my fists against the door, hoping she will get the message to answer her door quickly.

When the door opens, a maid with light blonde hair stands on the other side. She gives me a warm smile. "Can I help you?" she asks. I look inside the room and see my target smirking at the door. She knows perfectly well why I am here.

"I need to talk to Bexley."

Ooooooh drama! I love drama, don't you? It's just lovely especially this early in a story although it feels like I have been working on this for a really long time. Comment and vote!

So, I have a problem... I start school tomorrow and my teachers have already promised a ton of homework. In addition to that, I just started watching The Fosters so I might not be able to update much.
