Chapter 28

Rose Kingsley

I rush into the pack hospital to see my parents, Jim and the guys here already.
"Thank god you're here" James says walking out from behind the doors and hands me what he's wearing, a hospital gown, cap and a mask
"Why are you giving this to me?" I ask

"She wants you in there and so do I" He says with pleading eyes, I nod then slip the gown on and the mask then tie my hair up so it'll go in the cap and I look at my brother to see him stressed and worried so I hold his hand
"Come on, she needs us" I say, he nods then we walk in hand in hand to see Sami sweating buckets and breathing heavily as the doctors do their thing

"In a couple minutes you'll be able to push Sami, just keep breathing" Z says and I go to one side of Sami holding her hand while James holds the other
"I'm sorry I ruined your anniversary dinner" She says, I smile
"You made it ten times better" I say as I grab a towel then wipe off the sweat on her forehead
"Breathe Sami" I say and breathe with her, James joins us
"It'll be over soon baby" He says and kisses her forehead, Sami grips my hand as she whimpers

"Fuck this hurts" She says, I smile then run my hand through her hair and her eyes widen as she sees my ring
"He proposed!" She yells, I smile then James looks at my hand and smiles widely then its time. Sami is asked to push, she grips the death out of my hand as she pushes my nephew out, after a couple pushes, cries fill the room and I smile as tears fill my eyes when I see my big brothers face filled with happiness

"You did it Sam" I say, James cuts the umbilical cord then the baby is handed to Sami and she smiles
"My little Steve" She whispers as the cries stop slowly
"Welcome to the world baby boy" James says to his son and I smile as I see my brother with his family
"Hi Steve. I'm your aunt Rose" I say looking down at the cute baby in Sami's arms then James holds his son before he is taken to check if he's all healthy and to be cleaned up

"I'm going to sleep for a little" Sami whispers and is out like a light, I walk out taking off the hospital clothes and Derek stands up
"Everything went well" I tell everyone, they smile
"Thank god, how is she?" Mom asks
"Sleeping" I say with a soft giggle then Chad screams
"She has the ring on! He did it!" He yells, everyones eyes go to my engagement ring then they start to congratulate us and hug us making me and Derek smile

"Finally" Mom says, I giggle then I look at Derek and he holds me
"What about the other thing?" He whispers in my ear
"With Sami and James" I whisper, he nods

Its morning and we are in a new room with Sami, James and little Steve in my sister in laws arms. I lock eyes with Derek and nod making him smile
"Guys" I say, everyone shuts up and looks at me as I sit up in Dereks lap
"Whats up?" Riley asks
"I have news to tell" I say
"We know you're engaged" Dave says and I smile
"Its something else" Derek says then places his hands on my stomach and we create a heart trying to give them a hint, Riley's the first to notice and his eyes widen

"You're pregnant!!" He yells then everyone reacts and more congrats are given
"I'm going to be a grandpa again" Dad says chuckling and I giggle
"Oh my god! Our kids will be just a couple months apart! Yay!" Sami says, I smile
"How far along are you sweetheart?" Mom asks
"Like, a week? two?" I say in more of a question, she smiles then we all go back to random conversations and I carry my nephew, I look into his eyes and smile

"You look just like your dad" I whisper and a tear slides down my cheek
"You okay sis?" James asks, I nod
"Just, we've came so far, you're a dad. I'm engaged and expecting. I never thought I'd make it this far" I say, he wipes my tear away with a small smile

"Well, you did. Why? You managed to leave broken but didn't give up. You met people that helped you and pushed you to be better. I honestly am glad you ran away now because you came back stronger Rose" He says, I smile at him then down at my nephew
"You'll be a great dad James. Just like you're a great big brother" I say, he side hugs me not to squish his son

"And you'll be a great mom because you went through a lot and will be able to connect with your kids plus you're carefree and you'll be a cool fun mom like you are sister" He says, I giggle shaking my head then hand him his son
"I'm going to go eat something now" I say, he nods then I leave the room and bump into Derek

"Hey baby" He says smiling
"Hi, where were you?" I ask
"Bathroom. Where you going?" He asks
"Need food" I say, he chuckles
"Course you do fatty" He says, I punch him making him wince
"Ouch" He says rubbing his arm
"Dont call me a fatty because thanks to you I will be huge soon and be eating for two people" I say, he chuckles

"You're still going to look gorgeous watch" He says then pecks my lips
"Sure I will" I say and he holds me by my belt loops pulling me close to him, so close that my area is in contact with his
"Derek, are you horny?" I whisper and he groans
"Yes, these shorts on you make your ass look good and now I want your ass" He growls, I smirk pushing him away but I lean up on my tippy toes so my lips are next to his ear

"Try to catch me then" I whisper then run off in full wolf speed out of the pack hospital as I hear his sexy growl and feel him follow me making me laugh forgetting about the food as I run to our place in the woods.
