"Look at them. Fools." Her voice is like poision, every word that falls from her mouth hinted with the venom of a thousand snakes. A fool would trust such a luring voice, but she would lead them into her trap.

Her words melt the skin from your bones, but you are so very enticed by it,you have yet to realize you are already dead.

Lips made of glass, tongue wrought of steel, you know not to get in her way,for you will never recover from the words in which she has cursed upon you.

Let it be known to the lands. Do not speak unless you are requested to do so,or may you parish by the tongue of The Woman in Red.

I've learned this first hand.

I was stupid enough to challenge her.

I died a thousand times over.

The most painful of deaths.

Her words seeped through my skin and tore it from my body until I was nothing but bones. And when I was bones, she shattered me into a thousand small pieces in which she simply walked over.

She spits fire.

Nothing less.

I stand by the shelf in which holds she her weaponry, arms folded across my chest, eyes locked on the chaos ruling the streets at this present moment.

She turns, tired of watching citizens mindlessly slaughter eachother on the streets."The boy?"She says simply.

I pour a glass of alcohol.

I'm not sure what it is. The Japanese scipt painted across the front would forbid me from knowing such a thing.

"With Skye. He was assigned to her punishment today."

Her eyes are cold. Black coals stuck in her iron skull.

Unforgiving as they may be,deep down within a woman still exists, not the cold hearted assassin she is today.

She was once good.

But she had it all stripped away from her.

Let it be known to the lands.

Eye contact with this luring creature will only bring pain ad suffering, for you will feel what she felt so many years ago.

For you will know her eternal pain and suffering.

And she will laugh as you cry tears of blood and as the foul liquid spills from the very crevices of your body.

And she will step over your corpse as if it were a simple obstacle in her path.

"You had feelings for this Skye character once before, Agent Ward is that correct?"

Do not lie in the face of The Woman in Red. It leaves a foul stench to linger on her lungs.

Lie once, you will never see the light of day again.

She will rip your lying tongue from your mouth only to shove it back down the throat in which the words you spoke were formed.

And she will leave you there to perish as the blood spills down your chest and creates a pond around you.

"Yes."

Her eyes, flecked with ice and fire lock my own.

My heart stops in my chest.

"Do you still have feelings for her?"

Lie once and your tongue will cease to be the thing you speak with.

"Yes."

She stands.

Never show The Woman in Red fear, for it is what she feeds on.

Keep your face a still as stone. Show no emotion and let none lurk beneath your eyes, for if you do,she shall sink her teeth into your throat and draw from it-as if it were blood-the very emotion you showed beneath them.

And she will leave your corpse to rot.

Emotionless you will lay in your death.

Falling and falling into the never ending abyss of black.

She stops just in front of me her eyes searching for any emotion.

Once she seems satisfied she narrows her eyes and reaches around me for the bottle to Japanese alcohol, pouring a glass of her own.

"Once I loved, Grant,"She turns away from me.

I smile. I smile as her back is turned to me.

It is rare that she will show emotion. Rare as it may be,you must learn to recognize the difference between emotion and trickery.

Do not make a mistake, for you will perish by the sai in which she has adopted as her very own assassins.

True emotion from The Woman in Red is very hard to distinguish from trickery.

Be fooled not.

You must learn the difference quickly.

Here,she shows emotion.

It comes from her in mighty waves.

This is not trickery.

I've heard whispers of this lover.

A devil of some sort.

They're love went down in flames like the rest of her life has.

It hurt her.

It slayed her.

She was never the same after. This is what the book claims.

After this lover left, her eyes showed no emotion, her sai's were forever stained with blood. Her screams pierced the night air so much so that they shattered the stars in the sky.

"He broke my heart."

"I know."I say simply."I've heard."

She turns around, her eyes pluging deep into my own."She'll never love you again,Ward."

"I know."

She drives a finger into my chest."We have a revolution to worry about. Do you understand me?"

"Yes."

"This girl has yet to show us this power you say she has. So if this is just about your feelings for her,I'll kill her myself."

I swallow."I know what I saw,Elektra. I would never lie to you."

She stands straight, looking into my eyes."She has one week. If she doesn't display these powers by then, she's dead. Send the boy to back New York. We have preperations to make and we need a distraction-"

"Skye is on the verge of compliance-"

Her eyes darken and I shut my mouth."I'll send word."

"Good. Find Raven. Tell her we need to begin recruiting and that I am requesting her presence."

"Lady Elektra."

She nods as her form of goodbye and I set down the cup of Japanese alcohol leaving out to find both Mystique and Jonas.
