12. Back from the Future (Part 3, Final Part)

Lilly's POV
Younger Leo said while dialing on the phone, "We have to tell Davenport about Adam, Bree, and Chase on the mission."
Future Leo said, "Oh no, "It's happening!"
I asked," What's happening?"
Future Leo replied, "The series of events I was sent back here to prevent!"
Younger Leo got the voicemail and he threw the phone down saying, "I can't imagine myself without Adam, Bree, and Chase!"
Future Leo said as they both paced and did the same actions, "I don't have to imagine it, I lived it! Davenport and Lilly spend the next seven years to build a time machine so they can stop this one event and get them back!"
Younger Leo asked, "Why didn't he just come here himself?"
Future Leo said, "I don't want to bore you with the time travel details, but mass plays into the calculations and he did not want to write his weight in front of me..."
I rolled my eyes and Younger Leo asked, "He didn't fit into the time machine?"
Future Leo scoffed, "You saw that man, he doesn't fit into anything!"
They shook their heads and I said, "But we can't just stand here!"
Younger Leo exclaimed, "Well, you're the brilliant one!"
I said, "I have an idea, but it's mad!"
Future Leo exclaimed, "Well, go on then!"
I ran down to the lab with them following. I said when we got into the lab, "I'm going to shut down the collider and save them, I have all the information needed. I'll send a high electricity jump through the system at the voltage of Chase's force field using a taser that I will modify on the way there. Future Leo, I need you to track my progress as we go along to make sure you get us away out. Bree will super speed us out..." He nodded grabbing a tablet.
When I was grabbing my supplies, Younger Leo said, "I'm coming with you..."
Future Leo said, "I can't let you do this..."
Younger Leo insisted, "I'll be fine!"
Future Leo exclaimed, "I'm not worried about you, I'm worried about me! Besides, you're going to miss your date with Janelle!"
Younger Leo said, "I'm okay with it!"
Future Leo said, "Again, I'm not worried about you, I'm worried about me!"
I rolled my eyes and started to tweak the taser's voltage. Younger Leo said, "Look, we're the only chance Adam, Bree, and Chase have. They don't know that the room collapses!" If we can get their quickly, then they can shut down the collider and still get them out in time!"
Future Leo said, "No, Davenport's rover will fix everything! Besides, your still in that clumsy phase when you goof stuff up!"
Younger Leo said, "Look, I'm the one who messed up by telling Chase their fate, if they don't come back, I'll never forgive myself..."
Future Leo said, "Fine, then I'm going with you... It's time to send in some-"
"Backup!" They both posed and sang...
I rolled my eyes and said, "Uh, boys? We have people to save?"
Future Leo said while grabbing keys saying, "We'll take Davenport's turbo speedster!"
Younger Leo said grabbing the keys, "I'll drive!"
Older Leo said, "You can't reach the pedals!"
Younger Leo said giving the keys back, "You'll drive!"
I climbed in the front seat with Future Leo saying, "I put the coordinates in the GPS system already. Just put the pedal to the metal and drive!"
We shot out like a rocket! I was shaking as I was finishing the tazer and Future Leo said, "Lilly, you have a great idea, everything will be okay!"
I nodded and concentrated. I tapped the side of my glasses and did the finishing touches. I exclaimed, "It's done!"
Future Leo said, "Good, now please do not let younger me touch it!"
Younger Leo said, "Hey!"
Future Leo said, "Again, still in the phase of messing things up!"
We arrived at the base and ran in side. Sirens were going off and we got to the room. Younger Leo yelled, "Guys!"
I asked, "Did you shut down the collider?!"
Mr. Davenport exclaimed, "What's Lilly and Leo doing there?!"
I repeated, "Did you shut down the collider?"
Chase yelled as Future Leo caught up with us, "Yeah, we just finished!"
Younger Leo yelled, "Get out of there!"
Future Leo yelled, "The room is about to collapse!"
The three asked, "What?"
The three looked up and Younger Leo and I ran pushing Adam, Bree, and Chase out of the way. As the rock fell. I shielded Leo from the ceiling...
I heard Mr. Davenport yell, "No! No!"
Adam, Bree, and Chase yelled, "Leo! Lilly!"
Bree said, "Leo and Lilly just saved out lives... That was supposed to be us..."
Chase said, "They didn't need bionics to be a hero..."
Adam said, "Leo owed me five bucks!"
Chase said, "Wait, wait a minute! If, Leo's gone, then shouldn't you be gone too?"
Future Leo said, "I don't know, this is all new to me!"
Bree exclaimed, "Leo and Lilly are still in there! Adam, dig them out!"
I heard rubble being moved and then I saw light. Bree exclaimed, "Leo!"
At the same time, Chase exclaimed, "Lilly!"
Leo shouted, "Next time when I say get out, get out!"
I heard Mr. Davenport say, "They're okay..." Adam pulled Leo out yelling, "I am so happy you are alive! You owe me five bucks!"
Chase came over to me and tried to pull me out. I screamed in pain and yelled, "My leg is caught under the rubble"
Adam lifted it up and Chase held me close swinging me around. I hugged him with tears in my eyes. He said as he put me down, "Next time I rescue you okay?"
I said sighing happily, "Yeah, Let's not let there be a next time..."
He hugged me again and then we heard alarms going off. Chase exclaimed, "Oh no, the blast door is sealing!"
Adam ran away screaming, Chase pulled me onto his back piggy-back style screaming, "Everybody out now!" We all ran back to the car and got in. Future Leo drove, Adam was in the front seat, Bree was in back of Adam, I was in the middle putting my foot on the arm rest and Chase on my left. We arrived home safely. Chase carried me bridal style into the lab. He set me on my feet and Future Leo supported me while Mr. Davenport said while hugging them, "Thank goodness you guys are alright... What were you thinking?!" He pointed for them to get behind him, he walked over to me saying, "You're fired!" He pointed from Younger Leo to Future Leo saying, "And you! You are grounded until you become you!"
Future Leo said while helping me over to Chase, "Look Big D, I know you were worried, but it all worked out! I, I mean, we, changed the course of the mission and saved, Adam, Bree, and Chase."
Younger Leo said, "I think what he's trying to say is, they saved the world and I saved them, then I saved the world!"
I coughed, "We!"
He repeated, "We saved the world!"
He did the stance from before and so did Future Leo... Mr. Davenport said pointing to Leo, "Still grounded, " pointing to me, "Still fired..." He turned back to the two Leo's saying, "By the way, a girl named Janelle dropped by, "She seemed a little upset..."
Future Leo said, "Uh oh..." He pulled out his holophone and it changed from him and Janelle to him and a dog... He exclaimed, "You better fix this! I'm not walking down the isle with that!"
Adam said, "Oh don't be ridiculous, you can't bring a dog to the movies!"
Future Leo said, "Well, now that you guys are saved, I better get back to the future..."
Mr. Davenport said, "Courtesy of me, I did that!"
I scoffed saying, "We did that! Emphasis on we!"
Chase said, "Thanks for coming back for us..."
Bree added, "And for helping save our lives..."
Adam said, "And for showing us our time in precious so if we're going to make fun of Leo's height, we gotta do it now..."
Younger Leo punched Adam while Future Leo got into the time machine... I said, "Thanks for looking out for me, Leo..." He smiled.
Younger Leo said to Older Leo, "Stay smooth..."
Future Leo replied, "Only if you do... Enjoy the next seven years man, it goes by in the blink of an eye..."
He went off and Leo said, "Wow, I miss me already..." They hugged.
I smiled and put my head in the palm of my hand saying, "Awww, sorry to break up the beautiful family moment, but hello, broken leg here!"
Mr. Davenport said, "Okay, Lilly, sit on the island while I examine it.
Chase lifted me up on the island and Mr. Davenport said, "Look away..." He had goggles on and we all covered our eyes. A flash went out and then a hologram of my leg appeared above my leg. He said, "Slight fracture in the Tibia, a good crack in the Calcanous, but other than that, you should be fine. I'll try to heal it down to where you only need to have a brace for a while." I nodded and he said, "I'm going to give you an injection so you don't feel the bones be fixed..." I nodded again and felt the pinch of the needle. Chase held my hand then a ray went over my leg carefully guided by Mr. Davenport. He went to another room and came back and put a brace on my leg and ankle after I took off my shoe. He said, "Thank you for saving my kids..."
I nodded and asked, "Does that mean I can have-"
He cut me off saying, "No..."
I silenced my self, but said, "Thank you for fixing my leg..."
Chase said, "Come on, Mr. Davenport, if it wasn't for Lilly, we wouldn't be here. She knocked us out of the way and he shielded Leo from the rubble, that has to count for something!"
Leo said, "Come on Big D, she helped you build the rover as well!"
Mr. Davenport looked at me and said, "Fine-"
There was a chorus of 'yes' that came from us and Chase hugged me. Mr. Davenport said, "But, you can't disobey me again, Lilly."
I said, "Technically, you said to make sure they were safe, I made sure they all were!"
He said, "Don't push your luck..."
I nodded saying, "Yes, sir..."
He said, "Chase, take Lilly to one of our guest rooms, she shouldn't drive herself home just yet, Bree, can you go grab her things from home, and Adam, take all this gear into the gear room."
Everyone did so, Chase asked me when we were in the elevator, "After I broke up with you, you still saved me... Why?"
I said, "You weren't in your right mind, you were mad. I'm sorry for not telling you the truth..."
He said, "I'm sorry for telling at you... Take me back?"
I kissed him, he held me tighter as I ran through his perfectly combed hair. He sighed happily and I pulled away smiling. I smacked him on the head and he exclaimed, "Ow! What was that for?"
I said angrily, "That was for leaving and freaking me out!"
I kissed him again and after I pulled back he asked, "What is that for?"
I said, "For apologizing and me saying yes I'll take you back..."
He smiled and pressed out lips together again. I smiled into the kiss and the door dinged. We pulled away as he carried me to a room.

The next day, I saw Leo tried to explain what happened to Janelle, but she didn't believe him... I felt bad...
