Chase's POV
Adam, Bree, and I sat on the floor, waiting for someone to get them. They had been like that for hours, but no one had come to get them yet.
Just then, the captain walked over to them. "Good news. The coast guard's bringing another ship to arrest you. Well, good for us, bad for you." He chuckled. "I guess I should have just said bad news."
"Wait, what about the submarine?" Bree asked.
He sighed. "It doesn't look good. It's tough being this close and realizing there's nothing anyone can do to help." He walked back over to his crew.
Adam and Bree looked at me. "Chase we have to do something."
"Yeah, we're the only ones who can save them." Adam agreed.
I sighed. "You do realize that we'd be giving ourselves up? Our lives will be over."
"Chase, are you listening to yourself?" Bree questioned. "Those people are going to die if we don't help them."
"We can't let them happen." Adam added, his tone serious.
I sighed and stood up. "Who am I kidding? Of course we have to help. Bree, how fast can you subdue the crew?"
"Look who you're talking to." Bree replied. "Fast is my middle name."
"Lucky!" Adam whined. "Mine's Charles."
I ignored him. "Adam, once I give you the coordinates, use your strength to repel yourself deep enough to reach the sub. Then you can divert it to the surface."
Adam nodded. "Got it. And you can boss people around like you usually do."
"I do not boss people around!" I snapped. "I lead. I'm a leader."
"Come on!" Bree exclaimed. She sped towards the crew, grabbing a rope and tied them all together before locking them below deck.
"Done." She announced when she returned. "Your turn." She looked at me.
I nodded. "Alright. This is it. I'm activating my GPS." I activated my bionics and connected to a satellite, quickly sending the coordinates to Adam.
"Oh!" Adam laughed. "Got them!"
"Let's do this." I ordered. Adam ran to the railing, but Bree didn't let me go any further.
"Chase, we've never trained for an underwater rescue mission." She said.
"I know." I sighed. "We're just going to take our chances."
"Cannonball!" Adam shouted, jumping into the water.
Both of us ran over to the railing. "And right now, I'm not really liking our chances." I added.

Lilly's POV
I said, "Well searching that first boat was a bust this is going to take us all night!"
Mr. Davenport said, "Well at least we got the radio."
He turned it on and it said, "You're listening to another Donald Davenport audiobook, 'How to make a billion dollars.' "
Leo said, "Oh we need to turn this up you could use a refresher"
My phone went off and I said, " it's Chase's GPS signal; its back on!"
Mr. Davenport said, "They turned on the GPS signal that means they're in trouble hang on, Leo and Lilly!"

Chase's POV
We waited patiently for the submarine to resurface, but they were still nervous. So many things could go wrong, and all the scenarios pretty much included people dying.
Relief washed over us when they saw the submarine surface. Adam had actually done it. He located the submarine and was able to divert to the surface. Bree and I hugged with smiles on our faces. They helped save lives, and it felt great.
Minutes went by and there was no sign of Adam. "Where's Adam?" Bree asked. "Adam?"
"Adam?" I called. Nothing. "Adam!"
The colors drained from our faces and a feeling of dread washed over them. "He's been down there for too long."
I said. "No one can go that long without oxygen."
"This can't be happening." Bree murmured.
"I should have never sent him down there." I gulped. "It's all my fault."
Bree and I stared out at the water. They couldn't believe what just happened. Was Adam really dead?
"What are we staring at?" A voice whispered. They were so out of focus that they didn't notice Adam walk up behind them.
Bree and I spun around to see Adam soaking wet. "Adam!" Bree screamed. "We thought you were dead!"
"How did you survive so long without oxygen?" I demanded.
"By breathing under water." Adam replied as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. Bree and I looked at each other. "Wait, you guys can't?" He asked, then turned to me. "Wait, you didn't know that and you sent me down there without any oxygen?!"
"Of course not!" "Congratulations, buddy!" Bree and I lied, chuckling nervously.
Adam used the towel that Bree handed him to dry off. "Well, I guess we're back to using our bionics for missions." She smiled.
"Great, now it's a working vacation." Adam sighed. "You just can't unplug anymore. I blame the internet."
I rolled my eyes. "Now we just have to get out of here."
Just as we started running, the door to below deck swung open and the captain came out. "Don't move!" He shouted.
I looked at Bree. "I thought you tied them up!"
"I said I could tie fast, not well." She shrugged.
Suddenly, the sound of a helicopter was heard. They all looked up to see a chopper flying directly above them. They couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief when they saw who the pilot was. Mr. Davenport.
"It's Mr. Davenport!" Bree exclaimed.
"Quick! Climb on!" Davenport ordered, dropping the rope ladder so it hit the ground beside them.
"Later!" Bree hollered, speeding up the ladder. Adam pushed the crew back before running towards the ladder, throwing his towel at me.
"Adam, wait!" I exclaimed as the ladder started to come off the ground.
"You're not going anywhere!" The captain yelled. I threw the towel at him and ran, jumping onto the rope ladder.
Before I could climb anymore, the captain grabbed his leg.
"Adam, help!" I called.
Adam looked down at him. "I know you're pathetically weak, but can you at least try kicking free?"
I kicked the captain in the ribs, causing him to stumble back. That gave me the opportunity to start climbing up the rope ladder. Once the captain regained his balance, he grabbed the ladder and started climbing. Once I was safely inside the helicopter, Adam released the ladder, sending the captain down. He fell into the ocean, a big splash following.
"Whoops." Adam said, looking down. "Hey, at least that shark broke his fall!"
"It is so good to see you guys." Davenport said, looking over his shoulder.
I frowned, a confused look on his face. "Hey, Mr. Davenport, where are Lilly and Leo?"
"Oh, they're waiting for us at one of my offshore facilities." He replied. "We're going to have to hide out there because the FBI is on our tails." We tensed. "Relax. You're safe now."
