When the Dolorosa was a grub her lifelong dream was to care for all the poor trolls that had their lives ruined by the Condence's rein of terror.
At the age of 20 she got into the habbit of taking leisurely strolls through the woods. (or whatever was left of them) One day on one of her outings she saw in the distance a bundle of torn robes and mutant blood spattered across the ground.
Upon seeing this the Dolorosa rushed to the aid of the needy troll. It was a young boy who looked like he had been beaten severely. She then proceeded to check his clothes for his symbol but to no avail gave up.
As the Dolorosa grew older (not to old though) she cared for the boy, raised him and gave him a hive to call his own.
The Signless is what that boy grew up to be and he would create an army to defeat the Condence.
